General purpose ribbon switches designed for activation by hand, foot, or mechanical device. Available with sleeve ends or with block ends that have mounting holes (MT types). Block ends can have wire exiting from the end or back. Actuation force 24 oz. (7 N), in colors yellow or black.  Length is cut to customer requirements. Note: All ribbon switches can be supplied with a black TPE exterior for enhanced moisture and chemical resistance. Add "E" to the type designation, e.g., 101-BMTE, to specify.

Tapeswitch Diamond Plate Aluminum Safety Mats are designed for personnel or vehicle detection in heavy industry applications. Designed to withstand forklift traffic, steel wheel carts, pallet loaders and similar equipment, these pressure sensitive safety mats also survive welding debris, hot parts, metal chips, and foundry splatter. Diamond Plate Safety Mats are available in a range of standard sizes and can also be custom configured to form a protected area around a machine or work cell.

PCU/1 is a modular, configurable safety controller for protecting machines and plants. PCU/1 is capable of monitoring several safety sensors and products, such as safety light curtains, safety edges, safety bumpers, ribbon switches, laser scanners, photocells, mechanical switches, mats, emergency stops, two-handed controls, concentrating managment of these in a single, flexible device.  The PCU software, installed on a PC, can be used to create complex logical conditions using logical operators and safety functions, such as muting, timer, counters, memories, etc. via an easy, intuitive graphic configuration interface. Configuration data are transferred to the PCU/1 unit via a USB link. Expansion modules are available for larger installations.

PRSU/4 safety controllers can be used as safety devices for high-risk automation and machine control applications. This safety interface modules provides the highest level of safety offered by Tapeswitch™, exceeding the requirements of Category 3, PLd, EN ISO 13849-1. They also meet or exceed the safety content of the applicable OSHA, ANSI, and RIA Standards. The PRSU/4 safety interface modules have redundant safety output relays, are self-monitoring, and are rated Control Reliable, which means that any fault in the safety-critical components will be detected and the machine will be rendered inoperative until the fault is corrected. They are available in a DIN rail-mounted package. The PRSU/4 Safety Controller operates from a 24 VDC or VAC power supply and features a user-configured manual and automatic reset capability.
