TWT - Selenium Removal Plant
Tecnoimpianti Water Treatment has developed and patented a system for removing selenium, an element that cannot be eliminated from water using traditional chemical-physical methods. Selenium can be found in process and waste water in the following sectors: energy (power plants running on coal), mining, metallurgic, advanced surface treatments. Model TWT-Revo - Desalination Plant
TWT-AQUASAVE plants, used for underground or tap water demineralization and potabilization are produced as skid-mounted installation or in containers. Such configuration make the plants ideal for continuous operation or in case of water emergencies. The demineralization process with reverse osmosis is possible thnks to special polymeric membranes that can be permeate by water. Salts or bigger dissolved compounds that may be present in the water are rejected and discharged in order to prevent membrane fouling or scaling.
