Tenax Rivel - Reinforced Steep Slopes With Green Face

The Tenax Rivel system enables the creation of reinforced steep slopes with green face that can be used for slope enlargement, landslide stabilisation, construction of road and railway embankments, rockfall barriers, noise barriers, containment embankments.

Tenax - Retaining Wall System for Geogrid Reinforced Block Walls

The Tenax T-Block system is used to build reinforced soil block walls and is a good alternative to traditional reinforced concrete walls. It can be used for retaining walls, road and railway embankments, and slope enlargement. The T-Block system is dry laid, does not require skilled workforce or particular machinery and it adapts to bends. The precast vibro-compressed concrete blocks have an unplastered finish, are available in different colours and are attached to the Tenax TT reinforcement geogrids through Tenax T-CLIP connectors that provide a mechanical connection between the elements. The Tenax T-BLOCK system does not require maintenance and is designed for minimum 120 years service life thanks to the reinforcement HDPE geogrids and to the blocks that are waterproof, frost-proof and fire-resistant.

Tenax - Panel System

The new Tenax Panel system is suitable for retaining works with faces made up of precast panels with smooth or embossed finish which are available in different colours. The new Panel system developed by Tenax represents a state-of-the-art solution compared with the classic systems on the market. The system modularity is highlighted by the simple shapes of the panels (they are rectangular or square), indeed they can be laid in brick bond pattern or with vertical grout lines. The reduced size simplifies their transportation and installation.

Geosynthetics - Landfills and Contaminated Sites - Capping

Tenax - High Drainage Geocomposites

Tenax HD High Drainage geocomposites are designed to ensure high performance in terms of flow rate and tensile strength. They are used for landfill capping in place of traditional granular materials such as sand and gravel, and enable the drainage both of precipitation and of biogas.
The installation is quicker than laying a layer of draining soil: Tenax HD is provided in reels that are easy to transport and unroll, thus reducing costs of transportation and installation.

Tenax - High Friction Geocomposites

Tenax HF High Friction geocomposites develop a high friction at the geocomposite/impermeable membrane interface and are used for landfill and contaminated site capping. Thanks to Tenax HF, it is possible to increase the slope of a landfill covering, thus increasing its capacity and the long-term return on investment. HF geocomposites are obtained through factory lamination of a HDPE+EVA bi-polymer net and a separation and filtration geotextile placed above. The HDPE component ensures water drainage, while the EVA component increases the interface friction angle up to 36°, a higher value than the natural value of many kinds of soil typically used for capping.

Tenax - Standard Drain Geocomposites

Tenax SD geocomposites with two strands are an effective and inexpensive solution for drainage of landfills, roads, railways and large areas. The diamond HDPE structure can be factory laminated with one or two separation and filtration geotextiles creating a filtration-drainage-protection system that is compact and easy to install. Tenax SD geocomposites can be laminated below with an impermeable light geomembrane (SDcu) to integrate the underlying waterproofing. In case of barriers of compacted clay or GCL (Geosynthetic Clay Liner), it helps maintaining a correct level of humidity and keeping the characteristics of materials over time.

TENAX - Cuspated Geomembrane + Geotextile

TENAX MDP Geocomposites are a combination of a cuspated geomembrane and a geotextile. The lamination of a filtering geotextile to a cuspated geomembrane having a high drainage and protection capacity offers an effective "filtering-drainage-protection" system with a built in waterproofing action.

TENAX - Geocells

TENAX TENWEB geocells are honeycomb shaped structures with a cell height ranging from 75 to 100 mm, made by the continuous extrusion of polyethylene (PE) and without any welding. The structure opens like an accordion and therefore can be transported and stored with minimal space and successively opened during installation, thus creating a series of completely interconnected, regular ovoid cells (diameter ranging from 100 to 300 mm).

TENAX - Geocomposites

TENAX TN are geocomposites having high filtering and drainage capacity, produced by laminating TENAX geonets with geotextiles. The laminating of geonets, with their high drainage and load distributing capacity, with filtering geotextiles allows an extremely compact and easy to use "filtering-drainage-protection" system to be installed. The possibility to choose from the varying solutions afforded by the many TENAX geocomposites, each with its own unique set of characteristics, allows the designer ample choice for his specific project needs.

Soil Stabilisation

TENAX - Stabilisation of Soils

TENAX’s 25 years experience has confirmed that stabilisation of soils is an extremely cost effective method of converting areas of weak soil into a usable and environmentally sound construction material. Combining the use of TENAX bi-oriented geogrids with soils to create a much improved grid/soil composite has meant that many soils found on site can be improved cost-effectively for applications in: Roads, Railways, Airfields, Reinforced earth structures e.g. for walls and steep slopes, Container ports, Working Platforms for rigs and other heavy plant.
