Tenmat’s FF102/50, Ventilated Cavity Fire Barriers, are manufactured from a low smoke zero halogen high expansion intumescent material. They are designed to reinstate fire resisting performance to external wall cavities that are required to be ventilated (open-state) in non-fire conditions. The FF102/50 is manufactured from a rigid intumescent material allowing it to be provided in a strip format, it is also covered with a protective layer of aluminium foil for ease of handling. The products hold 3rd Party Certification after having undergone extensive fire testing following the principles of BS EN1363-1 and in accordance with ASFP TGD19 (Fire Resistance Test for ‘Open-State’ Cavity Barriers).

Tenmat’s VFB 60/60 Fire Barrier is an ’open state’ or ventilated cavity fire barrier for ventilated cavities of up to 450mm. Specially formulated for fire stopping: Each VFB 60/60 consists of a specially formulated fire-rated stone mineral wool section with an integral high expansion intumescent seal fixed to the leading edge. VFB 60/60 then leaves a maximum 25mm air gap to allow for drainage and maintain ventilation in normal use. In a fire situation, the intumescent seal rapidly expands to seal off the air gap and prevent vertical fire from spreading within the external wall.

Tenmat’s VFB 120/120 Ventilated Fire Barriers are ’open state’ cavity fire barriers for ventilated cavities of up to 450mm. The VFB 120/120 then leaves a maximum 25mm air gap to allow for drainage and maintain ventilation in normal use. In a fire situation, the intumescent seal rapidly expands to seal off the air gap and prevent vertical fire from spreading within the external wall. The VFB 120/120s are mechanically fixed horizontally within ventilated cavities behind the external wall substrate following the fire compartment line. The VFB 120/120s are used horizontally and can be installed in conjunction with Tenmat NVFB Non-Ventilated Fire Barriers which provide vertical fire separation along fire compartment party wall lines.

The Tenmat Fire Resistant Pipe Oversleeve is a universal, one-product-fits-all solution for the fire-stopping of combustible and insulated metal pipes. The thin and flexible intumescent is quickly and simply wrapped directly around combustible pipes or directly on top of pipe insulation without the need to cut back the insulation, ensuring that thermal and vapour seal performance is maintained.

Tenmat Firefly 109 is a compressible intumescent material which expands to form a resilient and stable char. The material is available in sheets of minimum 10 mm thickness or alternatively in formed shapes. The FF109 Pipe Fire Sleeves (PFS) is a range of passive fire protection penetration seals designed for fire-stopping around insulated metal and combustible plastic pipes.

Tenmat Firefly 102 is a rigid intumescent material that possesses excellent pressure generation and expansion performance. Tenmat Firefly 102 produces a very solid and durable char structure. Tenmat Firefly 102 is suited to a wide range of applications including as a fire seal for door and glazing applications, ironmongery protection, cladding & rain screen open state cavity fire barriers, construction joints, gaskets and general gap sealing. Tenmat Firefly 102 is a halogen-free graphite-based intumescent material which produces a particularly stable and resilient insulating char structure during and after expansion.

Tenmat Firefly 102B is a rigid intumescent material that possesses good pressure generation and mid-range free expansion performance. Tenmat Firefly 102B produces a very solid and durable char structure. Solid and durable: Tenmat Firefly 102B is most commonly used as the intumescent core within air transfer grilles to maintain fire compartmentation in timber fire doors. The material would also be suited to applications including as a fire seal for door and glazing applications, ironmongery protection, construction joints, gaskets and general gap sealing.

Tenmat Firefly 104E is a dark grey intumescent paper which generates high expansion and expansion pressure when exposed to fire or heat. Perfect for fire door applications: Firefly 104E is highly flexible allowing it to be wrapped or folded to suit various applications but produces an excellent char structure helping to maintain integrity throughout the fire. FF104E intumescent material is a thin intumescent material that is available in roll format or alternatively in sheets or cut into pre-shaped gaskets. It is an ideal material for use as an intumescent fire door seal whether around the perimeter edge of the fire door or as intumescent ironmongery protection, for example behind hinges and locks.

Tenmat FF109 Fire and Acoustic Downlight Covers are designed to limit the spread of fire and smoke through a fire-resistant ceiling/floor system where recessed downlights, spotlights or luminaires are installed.  Easy installation for effective performance: The FF109 Acoustic Downlight Covers are a product type that may alternatively be known as Downlight Fire Hoods or Intumescent Fire Hoods and are manufactured with ease of installation in mind an ability to be retrofitted into position providing effective performance even if the downlight is removed and replaced.

Reduce the risk of fire: Tenmat Fire Rated Loft Downlight Covers, or Loft Caps, are downlight protection covers designed to reduce the risk of fire caused when downlights are buried in loft insulation. These loft downlight covers may also be known as loft lid downlight covers, or loft caps for downlights, and should not be confused with intumescent downlight covers. The Tenmat Loft Covers are a fire safety product rather than a product intended to maintain the fire resistance compartment line in a building. As such they are designed to provide a fire-safe physical barrier between the recessed downlight and the loft insulation.
