Tenpack hitches are specifically designed to hitch the SteffenSystems Accumulator to the rear of the baler. Being a six piece retro fit, which allows the hitch to adapt to any common small square baler. With the flow control valve bracket and the electrical plug bracket mounted on the hitch this makes for a fast and easy fit up to the baler.

The process starts with an automated feed table on which the loader operator places the incoming large bales. The machine accepts both 32" x 35" and 46" x 35" large bales. This table then advances the large bales into the cutter box which tilts them on their edge to allow for the proper cut. Once the bale has been sliced into sections of 16" x 35", the bottom slab is slid over, allowing the next slab to fall down behind.

The BaleSkiis baler liner covers the bale-forming chamber with a specially designed, self-adjusting material. An anti-spring back pattern machined into the product uniformly compresses the hay and keeps it compressed when the baler plunger retracts. This ensures a constant uniform movement and compression of hay through the chamber. This means that the hay is not moving back and forth in the chamber, breaking leaves off stems. Tests conducted by the Canadian-based Alberta Farming Research Centre showed a 30% reduction in leaf loss!
