He has appeared at many events, including academic conferences, business conferences and university lectures.Gareth has also appeared on TV and on radio many times to discuss sustainability issues, for example on local radio, BBC Six O’Clock News, Countryfile and the Politics Show.

Executive Coaching

This is a unique new service from Terra Infirma. Executives who have been given responsibility for sustainability often feel lonely, isolated and in need of inspiration. Our coaching programme supports you by giving you a sounding board, will help you set personal targets to improve your performance and provide you with a smorgasbord of hints, tips and techniques to overcome particular problems.For a one-off annual fee, you will receive a personal one-to-one coaching session by telephone every month, but you will be able to contact your coach at anytime should the occasion arise, subject only to availability. This is an extremely cost-effective way of benefiting from our skills and experience without having to fashion a project to justify it. The constant reinforcement of ideas and reflection on experience is much more effective at boosting performance than attending a simple training course.

Facilitation And Workshops

Much of Terra Infirma’s work involves group problem solving in a workshop setting. Group problem solving not only brings a wide range of views and expertise to the issue, it also engages stakeholders in solution development, securing buy-in and reducing barriers to implementation.
