MLogger instruments combine proven catalytic combustion and thermal conductivity gas detection technology with specialized computing hardware and software to provide a true digital mudlogging instrument. Each system provides a linear response from 1% to 100% methane with computer controlled switching between filaments as gas concentrations change. The instruments are easily calibrated in the field, using 1% and 100% methane for the Model TG and certified calibration standard containing C1 through IC4 for the Model TGC. The model TGC+CHO can be calibrated with 10% CO2 calibration gas, in addition to the methane and C1 through IC4 calibration gases.

The GeoFox FID-GC is a digital flame ionization detector designed for and used in Surface Logging applications. This small portable gas chromatograph has excellent peak separation and with C1 -C5 detection in 60 seconds with a single column. The FID is fully WITS compatible, has flame out detection, hydrogen shutoff safety valve, and exports CSV, TXT, and LAS files. Please remember that Surface Logging is more than just simple gas detection. Raw data from the rig must be interpreted and edited by a professional geologist in order to produce a valid mud log. The ability to edit data and display it in a meaningful form is what distinguishes a logging instrument from a simple rig-based gas detector.

A simple, robust, portable analyzer; This small instrument combines the functionality of a total hydrocarbon analyzer (THA) with integrated CO 2, H 2S, and O 2 sensors. The THA uses a flame ionization detector (FID). Easy to use, wide measuring range, quick response time, WITS data streaming.  It makes a great tool for the mud logger.
