In dry feeding of livestock, TEWE’s additive dosing systems make a significant contribution to improving the health and productivity of the animals, increasing feeding efficiency, and cutting operating costs. They ensure that the animals receive the exact amount of additives they need, and prevent over- and underdosing. Furthermore, additive dosing systems allow quick, easy adjustment of the composition and dosage of the additives. This is particularly beneficial for animals with changing nutrient requirements, for example during different stages of life or different states of health. For example, feed for young animals can be fortified with a higher dose of vitamins and minerals than feed for fully grown animals. Additionally, animals with digestive issues can have certain enzymes and probiotic bacteria added to their feed to improve their digestion.
