Hydrogen produced by proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology is purer than any other form of hydrogen production. In order to compete with alternative forms of hydrogen production, a high efficiency electrolyser is required. However, PEM Electrolysers are prone to electrochemical energy losses, corrosion and oxidation making hydrogen production costly. TFP Hydrogen’s optimised catalyst range for PEM electrolysers delivers enhanced performance of the system, which is proven over 10,000’s of hours, increasing the efficiency and lifetime, ultimately reducing the long term cost of green hydrogen generation. We offer both anode catalysts (IrO₂ and IrRuO₂) and cathode catalysts (Pt/C) for customers manufacturing catalyst coated membranes (CCMs). These catalysts are highly dispersible into inks, and in round robin tests came out top in performance and durability evaluations.
