Alloy Valves

Grupo Compás stocks a broad range of alloy valves, in ball, globe, check, butterfly and knife configurations. As a valve stockist, we hold valves in titanium, hastelloy, duplex, super duplex, monel, incoloy, inconel, alloy 20, both in stock and can also deliver against tight lead times. Alloys are made in many qualitied and forms: forged, cast, bar stock and other standards that are suitable for valve manufacturing. In order to unify the description of the material, you will often see the use of the Unified Numbering System denoted by the three-letter `UNS` tag prior to a single-letter plus five-digit code, such as UNS N04400 for monel, or UNS S32750 for Super Duplex.

Duplex Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies duplex A182 F51, A890 Gr. 4A, and 2205 gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. As a valve stockist, we stock, supply and distribute valves in exotic materials such as titanium, hastelloy, duplex, super duplex, monel, incoloy, inconel, alloy 20, 254 SMO, 6 Moly, tantalum, zirconium, uranus, 904L both in stock and can also deliver against tight lead times.

Titanium Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally stocks titanium A182 316Ti, titanium Gr. 2, B367 and B381 gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves.

Model Alloy 20 - Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies Alloy 20, A351 CN7M, Carpenter 20, UNS 08020 gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Alloy 20 valves are often used in high concentration acidic environments, particularly nitric and sulfuric acid. Such material is commonly known as A20 or as Carpenter 20 in other circles.

Super Duplex Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies super duplex A182 F53, A182 F55, A890 Gr. 5A and A890 Gr. 6A gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Super duplex valves come according to various standards like 318LN, but are most commonly found as forged A182 F53 and the higher grade A182 F55. The newer cast grades, A995 Gr. 5A and the more noble 6A are more and more prevalent in the valve market, substituting the older norm A890Gr. 5A and 6A.

Monel Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies monel 400, bar stock K500, as well as forged A494 M35-1 and UNS N04400 gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Monel valves, such as those made of A494 MR-35-1 in forged form are often found in HF Acid plants and used in the most demanding alkylation applications designed and licensed by Phillips / ConocoPhillips as well as UOP. Under DIN standards, they are also made of 2.4360, or werkstoff 2.4361, or alternatively 2.4375. Desalination plants, subsea and marine applications as well as oxygen service -- where valves are cleaned, bagged and tagged for this special service -- often use monel valves.

Model 254 SMO F44 - Avesta Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies 6Moly (6 Mo), A182 F44, 254 SMO, Avesta gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. 254 SMO is an austenitic stainless steel that offers impact toughness and resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion and cracking. It has a strength that almost doubles the 300 series of stainless steels and is often more cost effective than the more expensive nickel-alloy and titanium or tantalum materials.

Inconel Gate Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies inconel 600, 625, UNS N06600, UNS N06625 gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Inconel valves offer excellent corrosion and heat resistance. The most commonly used forms of inconel are grade 600 and 625. Grades 601, as well as 617, together with 718, and 725 are far more rare, and users generally opt for the nobler incoloy alloy when seeking better corrosion resistance. A494-CY40 is the most commonly grade of cast inconel alloy. Under the Universal Numbering System, inconel 600 comes as N06600, whilst inconel 625 is N06625. DIN has also normalized inconel as 2.4816, 2.4851 for seamless tubes,2.4663 for forged tube sheets, 2.4856 for seamless pipes, and 2.4668 for valves.

Incoloy Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies incoloy 800, 800H, 800HT, 825, UNS N08800, UNS N08825, gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Incoloy is most commonly referred to in its grades 800, 800H, 800HT or 825. Incoloy 800 is identified as UNS N08800, whereras the rarer form of incoloy 800H and 800HT can be denominated as UNS N08810 and UNS N08811. DIN standards also allow for the normalization of incoloy under codes 1.4876, 1.4958 and 1.4959.

Hastelloy Valves

The Alloy Valve Stockist generally supplies hastelloy C276, B3 and A494 CW12MW gate, globe, check, ball, butterfly, plug, needle and custom made valves. Hastelloy valves come in many grades, most of them defined by the Haynes Corporation. Hastelloy B2 and B3 offer extremely high corrosion and temperature resistance and tensile strength, and are difficult to machine. Hastelloy grade C-22 alloy, the norm than now replaces the former C276 is the most common valve material in this grade category. Under UNS, Hastelloy is listed as N10665, particularly C276 which is denoted as N10276, whilst the newer C22 comes are N06022. This corrosion resistant exotic alloy also lists as N10675 N06455. DIN norms also allow for codification of hastelloy under 5 different grades, mainly 2.4617 and 2.4600, but also 2.4602, 2.4819, and more rarely 2.4610. The most common form of cast hastelloy for valves is A494 CW12MW.
