Ferrous Metals
Reclamation’s recycled ferrous metal products include the following: Shredded steel scrap, homogeneous iron and steel scrap magnetically separated, originating from automobiles, unprepared no. 1 and no. 2 steel, and miscellaneous baling and sheet scrap; heavy melting scrap, or HMS, in pieces approximately 1.0 to 1.5 metres long, typically used in the production of primary steel products such as flat rolled steel, steel rebar, wire rod and structural sections, as well as other steel products made in larger sized furnaces; foundry scrap in pieces approximately 0.3 to 0.5 metres long, typically used in the production of foundry ferrous products as well as certain primary steel products made in smaller sized furnaces.
Non-Ferrous Metals
Reclam’s recycled non ferrous metal products include the following, each of which conforms to various specifications of the company`s customers: Aluminium. Reclam’s recycled aluminium products include a wide range of items, which reflect both the versatility of the recycled aluminium material and the diversity of products manufactured by the company.
Plastic System
Reclam collects plastic waste at the company’s processing facilities and sorts it according to chemical composition and colour. This recycled plastic is supplied to local plastic manufacturing plants for the manufacturing of plastic products. The company procures the bulk of Reclam’s plastic raw materials from industrial suppliers often as part of an overall waste management and removal service.
