Themys has built strong capabilities in house over the past two decades regarding the design of complete systems from basic design to detailed design (including for example: 3D modeling on Solidworks, detailed calculation for radio or radar wave propagation, IP/analogic/NMEA converters, etc.) Themys is also able to design, prototype and produce bespoke products, in particular for navy requirements. For example we have already designed the following: mobile warship-AIS, navy multifunction repeater (GPR), Naval Data Distribution System (NDDS).

Our dedicated production team performs assembly, wiring and testing on our equipment in our premises. In particular, we carry out in-house the assembly of electronic racks and consoles for our customers. Themys has the means to produce single products and small/medium series. We have set up production methods allowing us to respect a high level of quality for our customers while respecting a high rate of production. We control the entire value chain and the quality level of each step thanks to highly specialized technicians and in-house production means. Each equipment produced is checked internally and then with the customer during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).

Then, over the ship lifecycle, we are usually regularly involved in upgrade or retrofit project as we both know the ship from our recurring intervention and have strong project capabilities given our DNA of integrators. We would typically perform IBNS upgrade or retrofit, PAGA retrofit, GMDSS retrofit, IT Network upgrade, etc.

Themys performs on a daily basis on call-services. These on call-services can involve one of several of the equipment of the many system we deal with (from communication to IT, through navigation and CCTV). These request are typically send to us by ship owner (in France and from abroad), ship agent or OEM service network. Do not hesitate to engage us for any potential intervention by email or phone. We usually reply within one business hour.

Themys is also approved by certain certification organisations (BV, ABS, Germanischer Lloyd/DNV, INSB...) to carry out GMDSS radio inspection (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) or VDR annual performance test on board ships.
