The TÜV and VdS certified firewater barrier consists of one left side U-profile and one right side U-profile as well as a hollow, thermally and mechanically resistant aluminum barrier. When not in use, the barrier is held in the upper position by pneumatic cylinders. The pneumatically controlled, weight-compensated closing of the barrier begins when designated buttons are activated or there is a loss of power. When the metal barrier has been lowered to the active position it is automatically locked into place by two pneumatic quick clamps. Unlocking of the clamps and resetting of the barrier to its upper position occur pneumatically. This product is protected by patent.

When not in use, the barrier is held in the vertical position by a pneumatic cylinder. On either the left or right sides, the metal barrier is attached to a pivoting hinge. When open, the the barrier’s vertical positioning is spatially economical. When not in use, the barrier is held in the open position by pneumatic cylinders.

When not in use, the barrier is held in the vertical position magnetically. The metal barrier is lowered in a controlled fashion from its resting position to the horizontal sealing position in the U-profile on the opposite side. When in place, the metal barrier is automatically locked into place by an impulse clamp. Unlocking of the impulse clamp and resetting of the barrier to its vertical position occurs manually. The barrier is set into the U-profile and locked into place. Unlocking and removal occur manually. 2 L-shaped wall mounts are provided for storage outside of the U-profile.
