Using lour long wave infra-red cameras, it is possible to detect and provide a qualitative assessment of chimney linings. This is because the basic principles of achieving a temperature delta between the internal, hot and external, colder surfaces enable us to bring to light any areas where the chimney lining is breaking down and may need further inspection to discover the true extent of the damage/erosion.

Where sacrificial anodes/cathodes are used we can quickly and easily detect areas where there may be a break/short in the circuits.

Sometimes the customer may have been working on a project which requires accurate thermography. We can provide both the necessary hardware and software, namely researcher 7 so that full data can be captured. We can provide capture of full radiometric images up to 50 frames per second meaning that even high speed dynamics can be captured accurately in IR and have a record of radiometric images which can be analysed in depth.

Ti have experience from looking for leaking aqueducts to leaking underground hot water pipes, herd counts and aerial flat roof inspections. We use a sophisticated system that enables us to capture full radiometric .avi files, still images, full digital video which has a GPS overlay directly onto the image showing where the images are taken at all times.

We have successfully used thermographic testing to monitor cold stores. Using infrared it is easy to see where a heated door seal is failing, or where a leak has occurred within the cold store itself. Where there are such extremes of temperature in this environment, the anomalies show up extremely well and can guide engineers to the exact point of the problem.
