TIMETAL - Model 35A - Ingot

Ingot is the basic product from which quality mill products are made. TIMET titanium ingot is produced to meet a wide range of quality standards and includes the largest variety of alloys in the industry – from customary alloys like TIMETAL 6Al-4V and TIMETAL CP products to highly specialized TIMETAL 17 and TIMETAL 834 for critical engine applications.

Grade - Model 12 - Cast and Rolled Slab

Regardless of the slab product, TIMET improves your yields and reduces your costs by efficiently producing a near-net shape product for the next operation. TIMET offers a variety of alloys, widths, thicknesses and lengths to meet your specific needs.

Model Mar M 509 - Casting Stock Furnace

Through our melt facility in Vallejo, California, TIMET produces casting stock in extremely short lead times. Titanium casting stock is expertly manufactured in our EB furnace while superalloys are manufactured in our VIM furnace. TIMET employs a combination of VIM and EB melting for super-critical applications. TIMET also offers casting stock in larger diameters (+8”) and at various quality levels through our other manufacturing plants.

Billet

TIMET is the world leader in supplying billet product for industrial, structural and engine components. We constantly work to stay at the forefront of process design and testing, developing new alloys and setting new quality standards for the industry. Common sizes of round and rectangular billet products at all quality levels are stocked in our service centers to provide our customers with short lead times. Custom and larger orders are available from our mills throughout the world. With approvals in place for critical applications from innovators like General Electric, Honeywell, Rolls Royce, Safran and United Technologies, TIMET supports you with the experience of an industry leader.

Plate

TIMET produces plate products in North America and Europe to supply the varied and demanding needs of our customers. Industrial- and aerospace-quality plate is supplied in a variety of gauges and tolerances for applications ranging from ballistic armor to structural components to engineered hollow fan blade systems where special flatness and gauge control are paramount.

Coil/Strip

TIMET’s coil product encompasses CP and alloy material for industrial and aerospace applications. Customized CP industrial products are routinely produced to improve formability for use in deep press applications and to increase high-temperature performance for use in exhaust system applications.
