ADINS  Clay series are additives based on organically modified special silicates for polymers. ADINS Clay products are developed to increase performance in every polymer system. Specially designed to be used in thermoplastics or thermosets, ADINS Clay provides adequate flame retardancy, gas barrier or reinforcement.

ADINS Fireproof are ceramifying additives made from a natural silicate activated with different compounds such as bored or phosphorate-based silicate, with low melting point glass.

Decontaminating construction materials are key in large polluted urban centers where decreasing environmental contamination levels is a priority.

Photocatalytic products to increase the organic material degradation and the kinetic of process. The use of these additives allows obtaining self-cleaning surfaces, where the dirt is not accumulated. ADINS Clean offers a solution to avoid the agglomeration of the catalyst particles (TiO2) and increases effectiveness by supporting the TiO2 particles on an inorganic substrate.

Our products are used as thickeners for offset and gravure inks type, providing an excellent rheological behaviour that prevents settling pigments due to a high consistency at rest.

We have a wide offer of rheological organoclays made from sepiolite and bentonites, suitable to use in a wide variety of incorporation procedures and any polarity range.

Tolsa has developed a range of additives made from special clays that take advantage of shape and rheology to provide a wide variety of interesting improvements in the performance and properties of water-borne paints and coatings. Our additives have been specially developed to optimise the rheology of the thickening system as a whole, either used alone or in combination with other organic admixtures.

This section includes our Calcined & Natural mineral products. Our calcined mineral products are effective against all kinds of spillages, such as hydrocarbons, organic solvents, aqueous suspensions, acid, and alkaline compounds.

Both fresh mineral oils and used ones need to be treated in order to remove solids and other impurities such as moisture, sulfur, metal traces, oxidation compounds and turbidity. Filtration stages extend the lubricant and dielectric oil life, maintaining equipment protected from premature failure, and thus, saving operating costs. 

Clays are widely used as adsorbents due to their selective adsorption, catalytic, filtration, and ion-exchanging properties. Our portfolio offers specifically selected clay-based filtration products that provide substantial adsorptive capacity for gases and water vapors. They efficiently remove the volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) produced by exhaust fumes. This cleaning process results in a more homogenized and stable final gas composition, preventing certain risks and accidents such as explosions.
