With over 40 years of experience in automated liquid handling, the Tomtec Quadra4 is the latest  of a best in class rugged, cost effective liquid handling workstation for life science work-flows.  The workstation is engineered around a reliable fixed-head air displacement syringe design which services a six station shuttle.  The six stations can support a wide range of accessories for automating complex work-loads like solid phase extraction (SPE), and an optional plate-stacker can be used to queue up to 50 assays.  With an easy to learn, user friendly graphical interface, the Quadra4 delivers unprecedented speed, flexibility, and precision.

The Quadra2 demonstrates the time-tested reliability of Tomtec`s liquid handling robotics. Constructed around the same proven quality of the Quadra320 design, the Quadra2 comes equipped with upgraded internal electronics and utilizes the same user-friendly software, and 450uL pipetting head as the Quadra4. The Quadra2 is a wise economical choice, whether you are a more budget-conscience operation or an established laboratory planning on expansion.

The Quadra Tower is based on the popular and highly reliable Quadra4  technology. It’s designed to accelerate workflows traditionally serviced by 8 and 12-channel, hand-held pipettors. The Quadra Tower supports fast and accurate workflows in a footprint no bigger than a notebook computer. An unexperienced user can quickly become familiar with its operation and aspirate/dispense  aqueous or organic fluids via the front control panel in minutes, or implement a complex repeatable workflow from a remote client via a GUI. The availability of a built-in bath allows tips to be washed between aspirate/dispense cycles saving time and significantly reducing the costs of consumables. The bath can be up-graded to an ultrasonic bath with or without a circulating peristaltic pump.

The Quadra Wash 2 workstation is a small footprint, self contained, automated microtiter plate washing station.  The unit supports washing cycles with two different concentrations of buffered solutions, such as Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) and/or water. Dispense/aspirate volumes and rates are set with simple pressure/time adjustments allowing the user to program repeatable fill/dispense volumes at known rates with integrated volume check function, which provides feed-back for quality control. Two separate inputs are provided for buffered solution, used in the wash cycle. The solutions are contained in a 10 Liter pressurized (2 - 5psi) PVC bottle. The effluent from the wash cycle can be aspirated to, and retained in, an Autotrap.  It can also be emptied to a waste disposal system by pressurizing the container from the Quadra Wash 2 control panel.

The AutoSeal thermal sealer is a small footprint bench top workstation designed to hermetically seal a variety of 96, 384 or 1536 assays plates within a single run, enabling a complete walk away automation process. The platform is ideal for a wide range of work-flows from the elution of Dried Blood Spot plugs to incubation of ELISA assays. The AutoSeal comes standard with a set of plate stackers capable of holding up to 25 low profile microplates per run. There is also an optional second stacker for doubling queuing capacity.

The Autogizer and Autogizer2 are fully automated tissue homogenization systems. The Autogizers can accommodate a wide range of lab applications such as tissue homogenization, emulsions and suspensions, cell disruption, protein extraction and various classes of medical laboratory research. Our Ultrasonic model can handle liquid volumes as low as 150ul and up to 150ml at varying intensities.  With five Ultrasonic probes specified by you, our engineers can design a custom system to meet your needs, and properly accessorize the Autogizer to address your heat and noise concerns.  For sturdier samples, our mechanical system can process up to 19 unique tissue groups with four or five variable speed cutters for a total run of 95 samples.

Since the fall of 2009 Tomtec has taken a leadership role in advancing the art of dried blood spots (DBS) bio-sampling focused on the preclinical and clinical markets. We offer a wide range of solutions supporting the entire work flow from sample collection, harvesting, storing to eluting. Tomtec has developed a new class of patented DBS systems and methods which leverages prior art in Bioanalytical automation, GLP, and maintaining chain of custody.  We have integrated that knowledge into our DBS bio-sampling instruments, leveraging our pre-etched bar-coded PDMS cards.
