Ductile iron pipe is pipe made of ductile cast iron commonly used for water supply and gas transmission in municipal industrial and mining enterprises. This type of pipe is a direct development of earlier cast iron pipe, which it has superseded. The ductile iron used to manufacture the pipe is characterized by the spheroidal or nodular nature of the graphite within the iron. Typically, the pipe is manufactured using centrifugal casting in metal or resin lined moulds. Protective internal linings and external coatings are often applied to ductile iron pipes to inhibit corrosion: the standard internal lining is cement mortar and standard external coatings include bonded zinc, asphalt or water-based paint.

The TF self-anchored interface adopts a T-shaped interface sealing structure. Compared with the T-type interface, it adds welding rings, movable split retaining rings, special pressure flanges and connecting bolts that are welded on the pipe socket end, so that the interface has better resistance to pull-out. The retaining ring and the pressure flange can slide, so that the interface has a certain axial expansion and deflection ability.

A fitting or adapter is used in pipe systems to connect straight sections of pipe or tube, adapt to different sizes or shapes, and for other purposes such as regulating (or measuring) fluid flow. These fittings are used in plumbing to manipulate the conveyance of water, gas, or liquid waste in domestic or commercial environments, within a system of pipes or tubes.

The main feature of ductile iron is that the carbon in its metallographic structure is nodularized into a ball shape, and its brand indicates the mechanical strength. Due to the different casting processes and formulas of various ductile iron pipe manufacturers, there will be great differences in chemical components. For users, the important thing is the mechanical characteristics. Therefore, there is no strict chemical composition for ductile iron castings in the national standard, but only the mechanical properties. Neither does American Standard.

The connection technology of grooved pipe fittings is also called clamp connection technology. The grooved pipe fittings for connecting and sealing is mainly composed of three parts: sealing rubber ring, clamp and locking bolt. The rubber sealing ring on the inner layer is placed on the outside of the connected pipe and coincides with the pre rolled groove, then buckle the clamp on the outside of the rubber ring, and then fasten it with two bolts. Because the rubber sealing ring and clamp adopt a unique sealable structural design, the groove connector has good sealing performance, and its sealing performance is enhanced with the increase of fluid pressure in the pipe.

The quick discharge valve is a type of air valve. It`s applicable to the pipeline where the industrial medium is water. The use of a discharge valve is more prominent in high pressure ratio applications. It is a necessary equipment for the pipeline to improve the efficiency of water transmission equipment and to protect the pipeline from deformation and rupture.

Filter is an indispensable device on the transmission medium pipeline. It is usually installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, constant water level valve and other equipment. The filter is composed of cylinder, stainless steel filter screen, sewage part, transmission device and electrical control part. After the water to be treated passes through the filter cartridge of the filter screen, its impurities are blocked. When it needs to be cleaned, just take out the removable filter cartridge and reinstall it after treatment. Therefore, it is very convenient for use and maintenance.

A butterfly valve is a valve that isolates or regulates the flow of a fluid. The closing mechanism is a disk that rotates. Operation is similar to that of a ball valve, which allows for quick shut off. Butterfly valves are generally favored because they cost less than other valve designs, and are lighter weight so they need less support. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe. A rod passes through the disc to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. Unlike a ball valve, the disc is always present within the flow, so it induces a pressure drop, even when open.

Seamless steel pipe is perforated by the whole round steel, and the steel pipe without weld on the surface is called seamless steel pipe. According to the production method, seamless steel pipe can be divided into hot-rolled seamless steel pipe, cold-rolled seamless steel pipe, cold drawn seamless steel pipe, extruded seamless steel pipe, pipe jacking, etc. According to the section shape, seamless steel pipes are divided into circular and special-shaped pipes.

ERW pipes are manufactured from the longitudinal welding of steel. The welding process for ERW pipes is continuous, as opposed to welding of distinct sections at intervals. ERW process uses steel coil as feedstock.
