Rope Access Services

TRAC provides working at height and difficult access solutions. We supply a range of innovative and complementary access and training services that add value for our customers by increasing the safety of our worksites. TRAC has been a full and active member of IRATA since 1999, with an unrivalled safe working record when delivering rope access solutions to our customers. Rope Access offers several benefits over conventional access systems for difficult to reach worksites. It is a safe, cost effective, efficient and versatile means of access.

Engineering Support Services

TRAC offers a one-stop engineering service capability encompassing project management, technical support and delivery of multi-disciplined services. We have a proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale engineering solutions, working closely with customers from project conception through to commissioning and completion. Our team of competent and qualified engineers and project managers are able to develop integrated solutions to meet specific client requirements and deliver these cost effectively and safely.

Specialist Inspection Services

Unrestricted use onsite – compact equipment offering safe barrier radius of 2 meters. No disruption to adjacent work scopes or nucleonic measuring equipment and reduced exposure risks to technicians/personnel. Suitable for all radiography applications and locations – (offshore and onshore installations).

Remote Inspection Services

Utilising the latest ROV technology to carry out underwater close visual inspections, this allows quick and effective initial inspection as well as ongoing monitoring of defects. Work scopes include inspection of water ballast tanks (including thickness measurements as part of class surveys), potable water tanks, external hull surveys, mooring chains, propellers and risers. Advantages include no manned entry to tank or deep waters and minimal disruption to operations.

Non-Intrusive Inspection Services

The latest Non-Intrusive Inspection solution utilised by TRAC’s experienced technicians is a high speed, high accuracy remote access ultrasonic corrosion mapping system. It is designed to evaluate the condition of ferrous structures such as storage tanks, pipework and pipelines (6” and above), pressure vessels and other critical equipment. It can give 100% coverage in a band up to 1000mm wide, significantly increasing probability of detection (POD) of corrosion.

Class Survey & Repair Services

TRAC has highly experienced Project Engineers and Inspectors fully conversant with hull structural survey requirements and we are certified by the following IACS member classification societies:

Rigging & Lifting Services

From concept to completion, TRAC has extensive experience providing fully engineered lifting solutions. We specialise in rope access rigging at height in difficult to access locations. We provide the lifting plans, equipment and competent & qualified rope access riggers for all LOLER compliant rigging & lifting operations. Our engineers will carry out an initial survey then liaise with the client to create tailored lifting plans. Personnel and equipment can then be mobilised to complete the workscope which is fully project managed by our experienced onshore rigging support team. All works are carried out by teams of multi-discipline rope access technicians. TRAC is accredited by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) to inspect lifting equipment.

Fabric Maintenance Services

TRAC is a supplier of integrated fabric maintenance solutions for all structures and industry sectors. We offer a comprehensive range of site services which, coupled with our in-house management expertise and technical capability, enables us to assist in enhancing the integrity and lifespan of our customer’s assets. TRAC successfully delivers life-time extension programmes from entire structural coating systems, through to one-off specialist applications.
