Analyzer

Xplorer - Elemental Combustion Analyzer

The XPLORER-NS is the smallest Total Nitrogen (TN) and Total Sulfur (TS) analyzer available in today’s market. This advanced elemental combustion analyzer offers fast, accurate and precise analysis of liquid, LPG, gas and solid samples. It is designed to offer standardized and customized solutions to match current as well as future analytical needs, ranging from low ppb to high ppm applications.

Xplorer - Elemental Combustion Analyzer

The XPLORER TX/TS is a microcoulometric Total Chloride and Total Sulfur combustion analyzer that blends into every laboratory environment, whether it is for R&D, chemical or petrochemical applications. Solid, liquid, gas and LPG samples, this robust Elemental Combustion Analyzer handles them all. Determination of Chloride and Sulfur concentrations according to Microcoulometry is an absolute technique and calibrating the analyzer is not a requirement. With its low detection limit it is possible to measure concentrations at ppb level. The XPLORER-TX (MCT) and the XPLORER-TS (MCT) are also available as seperate models.

Xplorer - Elemental Combustion Analyzer

The XPLORER is designed to measure rapidly and precise in a wide range of liquid and solid matrices. It is ideal for laboratories performing Organic Halogen analysis, if necessary for round-the-clock operation. The AOX, EOX and POX modules are easily interchangeable. High throughput AOX analysis is enabled by a unique slider principle, the XPLORER simply utilizes Newton’s law of gravity, by allowing the cup or frit to `fall` into the boat, before entering the horizontal furnace. When the boat returns from the furnace, the slider moves to the eject position, where the `burned` cup or frit is collected for re-use, without any pile-up in the furnace tube.

Xprep - Ion Chromatography - Independent Sample Preparation System

TE Instruments introduces the world’s first independent sample preparation system for Combustion Ion Chromatography analysis: the XPREP C-IC. This unique configuration redefines automated combustion IC analysis through its innovative design and functionalities.

Autosampler

Trace - Auto Sampler

Run your liquid sample analyses completely unattended with the XLS-30, a unique automatic sampling and injection device that reduces your workload and improves analytical consistency. It operates with a constant rate injection mode and a high capacity microlitre syringe to aspirate and dispense liquid samples accurately. The autosampler has been designed to offer the best balance of quality and affordability that perfectly fits the requirements of liquid applications according to international test methods such as ASTM, DIN, ISO, and UOP.

Trace - Gas Bag Autosampler

Analyzing gas is often seen as difficult and problematic. The chosen sampling technique and ability to handle different kinds of gas at different pressure levels and physical state is challenging to say the least.

Newton - Solid Autosamper

Automatic handling of solid and high viscous liquid samples can be done by the NEWTON auto sampler. A stackable, gravity driven, auto sampler for accurate and fast introduction of samples into the boat introduction module. The purge flow and protective lid of the sample carousel offer optimal sample preservation. The NEWTON increases sample throughput and efficiency in conjunction with the easily operated TEIS software.

Tuscan - AOX Column Autosampler

The TUSCAN column sampler delivers content of the Adsorbable Organic Halogens / Total Organic Halogens (AOX/TOX) column method automatically into the XPLORER sample boat. Once the columns are placed in the TUSCAN, TEIS software controls the introduction of samples. Assisted by boat introduction, there is full control over the combustion speed of sample and carbon. The TUSCAN is capable of introducing 42 columns without any intervention!

Sample Preparation

Trace - Automatic Sample Preparation System

The XPREP-A series is the fastest column method sample preparation system in today’s market. Specially designed to meet international standards like ISO, EPA and DIN methods (e.g. ISO 9562, EPA 9020). It automatically runs 100 mL water samples over the AOX/TOX columns at controlled sample flow of 3mL/min. Once the water sample has passed through the columns a wash cycle automatically starts, which removes the inorganic load from the surface of the activated carbon. The surplus water and wash solution are collected in a central reservoir, which can be connected to a continuous drainage system or simply emptied when it is full. The process is fully controlled by the sample preparation system that can operate as a stand-alone unit.

XPREP - Sample Prepartion System

The XPREP-3 is a 3 channel sample filtration unit designed to use for both batch method and column method. The instrument consists out of three independent filtration units, all of which can be equipped with quartz frit filters or joint columns. The quartz frit separates the water from the activated carbon after the adsorption stage, the column adsorbs the halogens, while running the water at a rate of 3 mL/min. The columns must be emptied in a cup before they are introduced into the XPLORER, the quartz frits can be introduced directly. Each autonomous channel is pressure- and therefore speed adjustable while running, for both Adsorbable Organic Halogens (AOX) methods.
