These sensors are manufactured from heat treated i7-4ph stainless steel, and the sensing element incorporates bonded foil strain gages of the highest quality. They are sealed for protection against most industrial environments.

The RTS Series torque sensors were designed to fill the need for accurate torque measurements below 62.5 in lbs without giving up stiffness or sensitivity to forces from other directions. They are manufactured from sensor quality aluminum and anodized for long term durability. Bonded foil strain gages and materials of the highest quality are installed assuring high reliability. The four bolt hole pattern with the use of our O.D. or I.D. pilots on either end allows simple adaptation to any application.

The RST- Series is our low range rotating torque sensors that are available in eleven full scale ranges of 10 through 30K inch pounds. The sensing element incorporates bonded foil strain gages of the highest quality along with coined silver slip ring and silver brushes for data transmission. The WR2, Flexural Natural Frequency, and Torsional Stiffness values as stated in the Dynamic Characteristics box below, are approximate and the tabulated data pertains to the torque pickup only, and does not include the effects of couplings or other rotating masses that would be part of a dynamic system.

Transducer - Model SSI Series - Plug & Play Smart Portable Hand Held Load Cell Indicator

The SSI is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant portable handheld Load Cell Indicator Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SSI will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SSI can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The SSI can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, inch pounds, etc. The SSI also has a Units key for automatic conversion of readings for load, torque and pressure. The SSI has an ultra-fast signal-sampling rate of 15,360 samples/second for true peak and/or valley testing capability. Auto-tare allows the meter to be set to zero for any input signal level. The SSI also features a USB port for data logging to a PC.

The DPM-3 is a smart Plug & Play TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant Digital Panel Mount Load Cell meter Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the DPM-3 will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the DPM-3 can be set up by simple front panel push buttons. The DPM-3 can be scaled to a full 5 digit display from 0 to 99,999 counts to read directly in engineering units such as grams, ounces, pounds, etc. The DPM-3 samples 60 readings per second (50 for 50Hz operation) for fast control response and true peak/valley reading capability. The meter has an adaptive digital filter that can automatically select the best time constant for minimum noise, yet respond rapidly to an actual change in signal level.

The LCA-9PC Module provides low-cost, dedicated signal conditioning for a single bridge type load cell or torque sensor. Model LCA-9PC comes with DB9 male and female connectors, which require soldering to user-furnished mating female or male wire connectors. On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mV/Vto 10 mV/V, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film potentiometers. The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. An onboard 87.325 kQ resistor allows easy shunt calibration at the push of a button. Provision is also made for a user-furnished calibration resistor.

On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mVA/to 10 mVA/, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA. 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film potentiometers. The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. Power requirements are 11.8 to 26V DC with load currents from 10 to 60 mA. the latter applying when the unit provides 10V DC excitation to a 350 ohm load cell and delivers a 20 mA analog output.
