Seals for Pipes and Manholes and Ancillary Equipment - Plastic Pipe Seals
Trelleborg - Model 575 - Non-Integrated Anger Seal for Plastic Pressure Pipes
Non-integrated seal for plastic pressure pipes and wastewater conduit in ground. The Trelleborg 575 Anger seal is a combined lip and compression seal. The seal is positioned in the socket by the pipe manufacturer. The ”main lip” comprises a combined lip and compression section. The ”front and rear lip” locates the seal in the socket groove and absorbs any permissible variations in the groove. The Trelleborg 575 Anger seal meets or exceeds current European standards for both pressure and vacuum, deflection and shear load. Furthermore, the seal design gives low assembly forces making pipe jointing.
Trelleborg - Anger-Locked-in Seal for Plastic Pressure Pipes
Locked-in seal for plastic pressure pipes, wastewater, conduit and cast-iron fittings. Trelleborg Anger-Lock is a combined lip and compression seal. Installed inside the socket after it has been formed, the retaining element effectively locks the seal into the groove. Making the seal an integral part of the pipe brings many advantages: rings can no longer get lost during stocking and transportation, and the low jointing force ensures that the seal stays in place when pipes are jointed.
Trelleborg Power-Lock - Integrated Seal for Plastic Pressure Pipes
Power-Lock seal is integrated into the pipe during the manufacturing process. By heating the pipe and using the mandrel together with the seal as a tool to form the socket, the seal is effectively shaping its own groove. This reduces irregularities and tolerances in the socket. The seal is equally effective under positive and negative pipe pressure (vacuum). Under positive pressure, the higher the pressure the greater the sealing force. Under vacuum, the seal maintains a positive sealing force against spigot and socket, preventing sand or soil to enter the joint.
Seals for Pipes and Manholes and Ancillary Equipment - Concrete Pipe Seals
Trelleborg - Model 101 - G-Ring Compression Seal for Gravity and Low Pressure Concrete Pipes
Trelleborg 101 G-Ring is a compression seal which is rolled into place during joint assembly. The seal is designed, primarily, for non-pressure concrete pipelines, but if the joint is correctly designed, it can also be used for pressure pipelines, and it is standard in many countries. The compression of the seal varies according to the joint gap and tolerance chosen. Joint performance is dependent on dimensional accuracy and surface finish of socket and spigot. Trelleborg 101 G-Ring seal meets all relevant current European standards.
Trelleborg Glipp - Model 103 - Integrated Seal for Concrete Pipes
Trelleborg 103 Glipp is an integrated seal that is cast into the socket during pipe manufacture. The seal can also be used for concrete pipe connections to manholes.
Expansion Products
Trelleborg - Model DN25-400 - Balance With Inner Sleeve
The Balance I with inner sleeve is a stainless steel expansion joint with carbon steel weld ends and a stainless steel inner sleeve. It is used to accommodate axial movements and relatively small lateral misalignment in piping systems with large diameters. Due to its double-ply bellows, this compensator is more flexible in comparison to similar single-ply compensators. The maximum operating temperature of the Balance I with inner sleeve is +550 °C, the maximum working pressure 2.5 bar (50 °C).
Trelleborg - Model DN450-1000 - Balance I With Inner Sleeve for Stainless Steel Expansion Joint With Carbon Steel Weld
The Balance I with inner sleeve is a stainless steel expansion joint with carbon steel weld ends and a stainless steel inner sleeve. It is used to accommodate axial movements and relatively small lateral misalignments in piping systems with large diameters. Due to its double-ply bellows, this compensator is more flexible in comparison to similar single-ply compensators. The maximum operating temperature of the Balance I with inner sleeve is +550 °C, the maximum working pressure 2,5 bar (50 °C).
Trelleborg - Model DN40-300 - Balance II Twin for Stainless Steel Expansion Joint With Carbon Steel Weld Ends
The Balance II is a stainless steel expansion joint with carbon steel weld ends. It is used to accommodate axial movements and relatively large lateral misalignments in piping systems. Due to its double-ply bellows, this compensator is more flexible in comparison to similar single-ply compensators. The maximum operating temperature of the Balance II is +550 °C, the maximum working pressure 2,5 bar (50 °C).
Sealing Systems for Sewer and Stormwater Pipes
Trelleborg Din-Lock - Model 582 - Metric Seal System
Trelleborg 582 Din-Lock (metric) seal is a combined lip and compression sealing system that is positioned in the socket by the pipe manufacturer after the bell has been formed. The unique design has a flexible thermoplastic elastomer sealing element bonded to a polypropylene retaining ring which holds the seal firmly in the correct position during pipe transportation and joint assembly. The seal is designed to absorb any permissible variation in groove geometry whilst maintaining a high sealing performance with the lowest possible jointing force.
Trelleborg Forsheda - Model 567 - Rieber Sewer Metric
Cannot be displaced during transportation & installation. Greater joint reliability due to joint tolerance reduction. Traditional Rieber style seal for metric sewer pipes.
