The M100 handles larger municipal pipebursting projects, especially in small or hard-to-reach easements. The M100 brings the essential TRIC formula—big power in a small footprint—to pipebursting projects replacing municipal sewer mains and water lines. Along with a variety of TRIC bursting head assemblies for different pipe materials, the M100 is a versatile solution to replace sewer and water pipes up to 12” diameter and larger.

The new TRIC HC14 is the most advanced hydraulic power pack we have ever devised for residential and light commercial sewer replacement. The entire construction industry essentially runs on fluid power. For decades, TRIC has pursued the optimal hydraulic power source for our residential pipebursting systems. We believe we have achieved that goal with our latest HC14 power pack. When it comes to trenchless sewer lateral replacement, there is no better combination for success than the X30 pulling assembly and the HC14.

The TRIC-Lock 4-inch head works as a direct attachment to a 4-inch SDR17 pipe’s open end without the need for a PE cap or to fuse with the replacement HDPE pipe. The entire assembly pulls with a 3/4” or 5/8” cable via an open shackle. Maneuverability in tight-entry conditions is managed by hinging the head assembly to the shackle-pin.

The TRIC Tools 8-inch standard bursting head attaches to a pipe end or PE cap that is fused to the replacement high-density polyethylene pipe. Pulling happens with a 7/8”, 1”, 1.125” or 1.25” swaged cable, and a 2-inch x 4.5 TPI stud termination. The PE driver functions as the head driver. The 8-inch standard mole features a narrow nose at a 3-inch diameter with three staggered removable blades.

The TRIC-Lock standard 6-inch head is used to pull a pipe-end or a polyethylene pipe fused to an HDPE replacement pipe. This assembly pulls with an open shackle termination and a 3/4” cable. The hinging of the pulling eye at the shackle pin enables maneuverability for tight-entry instances.

The 6-inch TRIC-Lock pipe bursting heads directly attach to a 6-inch SDR17 pipe’s open end without fusing to the HDPE replacement pipe or requiring a PE cap. The TRIC-Lock assembly pulls via an open shackle termination and a 3/4“ cable. The head assembly’s pulling eye attaches to the shackle-pin via a hinge, enabling entry in tight circumstances.

The TRIC Tools 4-inch standard pipe-bursting heads pull pipe-ends or PE caps fused to a replacement HDPE pipe. This assembly pulls with a 3/4” or 5/8” cable and an open shackle termination. The head-assembly pulling eye hinges at the shackle pin for jobs with tight entries.

The Connectra 14M Butt Fusion System quickly and accurately handles polyethylene pipes, from ¾” CTS to 4” DIPS, as well as valves and fittings. Snap liners allow clamps to work with smaller pipes. The heater, faces, and joining assembly operate on or off-cart or unplugged in the ditch while maintaining proper temperatures. The fusion welding machine features a semi-automatic clamping assembly that maintains centerline fusion force independent of the operator. Manually operating the facer allows work in hazardous spaces.

The McElroy PitBull® 26 model fusion welding machine is purposed for not only fusing 2” IPS to 6” DIPS polyethylene pipes but also ells, tees, and additional fittings. When using the machine to fuse pipes made from other thermoplastic materials, consult the fusion procedures listed by the pipe manufacturer for the correct joining standard.
