Generally speaking, the best environment suitable for the growth of plant is the temperature of 20—25°C and the humidity of 50—70%. In hot summer days, the heat radiation and thermal conduction can make the temperature in the greenhouse higher than it outside greenhouse. So applying effective cooling system is a most important approach to obtain good yield. Fans and cooling pads for cooling system is the most inexpensive and most efficient way to cool down the temperature in greenhouse in summer.

There are commonly two ways to heat the greenhouse. One is hydronic heating by boiler with hot water piping system. It is widely used in large scale agriculture growing in cold areas which require heating in long period in one year. The other one is oil/gas fired air heating by heater, mostly applied in warm areas where the required heating time is short. The purpose of this two heating system is to increase the temperature inside the greenhouse in Winter to create a comfortable environment for the plants.
