Trion’s electronic Mini Mist Eliminator (Mini M.E.) is designed to collect oil/coolant mist and smoke at the source. It will not only help you to comply with OSHA standards, but also help to improve employee safety, protect equipment and reduce plant maintenance costs. Its small size lends itself to be mounted directly on the machine tool for source capture of contaminants such as water-soluble, synthetic and petroleum based coolants and smoke.

Under normal mechanical and thermal stresses, petroleum based and synthetic oils in lubricating systems break down into fine mist and smoke particles. These particles, under pressure, escape through bearing seals to breather vents where they are exhausted. These airborne oil mists can create health and fire hazards, violate EPA/OSHA regulations, and contribute to the fouling of relays and other electronic components. Direct venting to the atmosphere is costly and may violate EPA/OSHA regulations. Because of the predominance of submicron size particles, oil mists generally cannot be effectively controlled by ordinary straining type filters or centrifugal collectors. High efficiency mist eliminators create excessive back pressure. Trion`s Model 38 is up to 99% efficient, nonselective in the size of particles collected, contains no moving parts, and in most applications, is virtually self-cleaning.

Trion’s Vertical Oil Mist Precipitator (VOMP) 600 electronic mist collector is designed to remove oil/coolant mist and smoke at the source. The VOMP 600 brings you in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, improves employee safety and working conditions, protects equipment, plant fixtures and work in progress, and reduces plant maintenance costs. The VOMP 600 can be mounted directly on the machine tool for source capture of contaminants such as water-soluble, synthetic and petroleum-based coolants and smoke.

The Trion Air Boss ATS Series is ideal for the removal of grease and smoke from commercial cooking applications, as well as smoke, fumes, and oil/coolant mists from industrial processes. An optional Adsorber Module helps treat nuisance odors in the form of gaseous emissions. The modular design of the ATS Series allows for multiple filtration configurations, while an automated, integral water-wash system facilitates in-place cleaning of the electrostatic precipitator (ESP) filters.

The Trion T-Series is ideal for the removal of smoke, fumes, and oil/coolant smoke and mist. The T-Series has the ability to clean contaminated indoor air and recirculate it back to the work area, reducing energy costs by not having to exhaust conditioned air to the outside. Models T1300, T2600 and T5200 can be installed either unducted or ducted for source capture. Models T1001 and T2002 are designed for in-ducted capture.

Trion’s Air Boss® media units are industrial air cleaners designed for both general ventilation (removal of airborne pollutants from plant atmospheres) or source capture (ductwork or arms positioned at the origin of pollutants). These units help solve welding smoke, oil mist, rubber dust, diesel smoke, grinding dust, numerous gases/odors and many other indoor air pollution problems.

Trion`s Air Boss® MP600M industrial mist collector is designed to remove oil mist, coolant mist and smoke at the source to help bring you in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards, improve employee safety and working conditions, protect equipment, plant fixtures and work in process, and reduce plant maintenance. The MP600M is ideal for source capture of contaminants such as water soluble, synthetic and petroleum based coolants, and grinding dust generated from operations such as screw machines, surface and centerless grinders, CNC, turning lathes, parts cleaning systems, and various other applications.

Tridex is a heavy duty, industrial strength, concentrated alkaline liquid detergent formulation developed specifically for removal of stubborn airborne deposits that coat exposed ionizing/collecting elements of electronic air cleaners. Deposits to be removed include tars from tobacco smoke, dirt, grease, dust, and other tenacious particulate matter which ordinarily is difficult to penetrate and make soluble with other common commercial detergents.
