These tubes are composed of a surface profile wire that is spirally wrapped around axial support profiles and attached to each other by resistance welding.

For these types of slot tubes, the support wires are on the outside in an axial direction and the profile wire runs radially on the inside of the tube. The flat side of the triangular profile wire is oriented to the inside of the tube, which is why this element is FITO (= flow in to out).

This type of filter tube is characterized by an axial profile wire/axial slot direction. The support wire is oriented on the outside of the filter element in a radial direction. The smooth surface of the profile wire is on the inside and the filtration direction is therefore from the inside to outside. Although FOTI is also possible in exceptional cases.

Trislot flat screens are flat filter surfaces that can be manufactured in two different ways. Welded screens: directly made on the flat welding machine. Flattened slot tube: manufactured by opening and flattening a slot tube with radial external wire.

Trislot welded screens are produced directly on a machine by welding surface profiles onto support profiles at each intersection at 90° angles.

Trislot can bend a flat screen to form a curved screen. As the substrate flows over the curved screen, the large solid particles remain behind and are collected at the bottom of the screen.

Wedge wire is a welded stainless steel construction mainly used for filtration, separation and retention of media. It is made of surface profiles, usually V-shaped, that are resistance welded onto support profiles. The distance between the surface profiles is controlled very accurately and forms the slot opening  through which the filtrate flows.

Conical shaped baskets are manufactured out of one or more flat screens that are rolled and welded together. The slot direction is conventionally axial and the filtration direction FITO, however FOTI and radial slot is also possible depending on the requirement of the customer. Conical baskets can be equipped with flanges, reinforcements or special fittings.
