Site Assessments

Triton provides comprehensive site investigation services as one of its core strengths. When it comes to evaluating environmental risk, our clients require accurate, objective reliable information, which is the hallmark of our success. Triton’s team of project managers and technical staff have completed thousands of site assessments at industrial, commercial, institutional and residential properties throughout the United States. We understand the complex issues surrounding property transfers and can identify and evaluate the associated risks in a timely and cost effective manner.

Remediation

As a leader in the remediation of environmentally impacted properties, Triton offers the advantage of being a full service consulting firm, providing expertise in a variety of environmental disciplines to ensure that our remedial solutions are not only of the highest technical quality, but also take into account cost effectiveness. Triton’s practical approach to brownfields redevelopment, petroleum/chemical releases, voluntary remediation projects, and school siting and renovation projects has positioned us as an expert in this field. Our team provides customized and creative remedial strategies offering our clients the ability to manage their specific risk, while facilitating development.

Wetland & Ecological

The ability to alter wetlands, watercourses, and associated upland review areas has become increasingly restrictive. Triton provides specialized services to assist clients with their need to evaluate and assess potential project impacts to aquatic and terrestrial (upland and wetland) communities with regard to federal, state and local regulatory issues. We understand that development and environmental protection need to coexist.  Finding the critical balance that meets the objectives of the client and regulatory agencies is a unique attribute of our Wetland & Ecological team. This approach enables our clients to incorporate environmental sensitivity into their design plans while minimizing potential adverse impacts to inland and wetland watercourse ecosystems. The result is a successful project completed on time and on budget.

Air Compliance

Triton assists clients in developing cost-effective compliance with the Federal Clean Air Act, and individual State air quality regulations. We offer services covering every aspect of air quality system design and regulatory compliance, including new facility permitting, process line evaluations, and plant expansion or modifications, as well as litigation and expert witness support. Through familiarity with the latest technologies for process optimization and air pollution controls, we can recommend equipment modification or replacement to maximize facility production and/or operational capacity.

Coastal Permitting & Engineering

Triton’s Coastal Group provides expertise on a full range of waterfront projects including maintenance and improvement dredging, marine terminal improvements, marina construction and expansions, utility crossings, shoreline developments, outfall structures, and other waterfront related projects. Our staff is made up of regulatory experts, professional engineers, and coastal planners. Although the coastal zone is a highly regulated environment, Triton has an extensive track record of achieving our client’s objectives.

Tracker Environmental Management System

Tracker is a powerful, internet-based tool specifically designed for use by managers of industrial/commercial operations responsible for environmental and regulatory compliance. In response to client feedback, it was designed from the start to be simple to understand and easy to use. It offers convenient access, ultimate flexibility, effective graphic displays, and many other useful features. The basic goal of the program is to reduce the often voluminous, complex, and unorganized permitting and compliance requirements to a manageable format. Tracker includes three principal tools or services – a regulatory summary index, compliance item summaries, and an interactive calendar.
