FlexHeater - TCH Remediation Services
FlexHeater TCH Remediation Services, applied in situ or ex situ for the treatment of VOCs and SVOCs, involves heating narrow diameter steel pipes to many hundreds of degrees Celsius. The heat propagates radially away from the pipes, evaporating the contaminants. Applying the flexible, patented heaters, TRS can achieve temperatures in the vadose zone and ex situ cells high enough to volatilize high boiling contaminants, including PAHs, PCBs, and PFAS. The FlexHeater remediation is effective in all types of soil and bedrock, typically achieving 99% or more contaminant concentration reductions.
OptiFlux - ERH Remediation Services
OptiFlux ERH, commonly used for in situ remediation of VOCs, applies electrical energy to the ground through electrodes. The soil matrix acts as a resistor and heats up to the boiling point of water. TRS is particularly adept at optimizing electrical flux, often completing projects ahead of schedule. We also can heat to sub-steaming temperatures, a process we call HEPA® remediation, to accelerate the natural degradation of contaminants. OptiFlux® ERH is effective in all types of soil and sedimentary bedrock, typically achieving 99% or more contaminant concentration reductions.
EcoSteam - Enhanced Extraction Services
EcoSteam Enhanced Extraction Services involves using boilers to generate steam, injecting the steam through wells, and recovering the contaminants, water, and steam with multiphase extraction wells. As injection and extraction wells can be many tens of feet apart, SEE can be a low cost heating solution for NAPL-impacted, transmissive aquifers.
