One of ts-systemfilter´s oldest inventions is the tubular star filter, patent no. DE 34 39 194. The original star filter combines all the advantages of the hose filter and the pocket filter. This star filter is screwed into the filter plate complete with a reusable support tube. Integrally cast filter plates seal the clean air side from the dirty air side.

The star filter was modified by the multi-functional star filter ts-x. It has got a self-sealing plug-in connection and can be installed from the dirty air side as well as from the clean air side. The multifunction-star filter doesn´t require any additional support. This way the filter area yields to differential pressure and promotes pneumatic regeneration.
