The Drill pipes, HWDP, Drill Collars are manufactured conforming to API 5D,API SPEC 7. The material of drill pipe body is up to the 1 &3 group of API 5D.(Group 1---grade E75; Group 3---grade X95,G105,S135 ) The matching tool joints are according to your requirements which are up to API standards.

This metallurgical composite pipes can be used widely in the highly corrosive environments such as petroleum industry, chemical industry, ocean platforms, and so on. through the lining of wear resistant metal in inner layer, it also can be used in the high wearing environments such as the transportations of pulverized coal power plant, powder ore and tailing pulp in mines, and so on.

Integral heavy weight drill pipes are manufactured with AISI 4142H-4145H modified structural alloy steel, and the whole manufacture crafts are according to SY/T 5146-1997 standard. In a gradually developed intermediate weight, with a wall thickness between pipe and collar, the pipes are used as a kind of drill tool between pipe and collar with a gradual change of section plane to reduce drilling fatigue to prevent stress concentration at the top of the drill collars. It also allows you to drill at high speed with a reducing torture in case of different pressure sticking during directional well drilling works. Because of its relatively low steel strength, it reduces directional resisting and minimizes contact fatigue, both of which are common problems in large angle or horizontal drilling. The reduced number of pipe failures and increased drill pipe life also make it appropriate for some straight hole’s drilling.

Drill Collars are integral heavy wall joints that are manufactured from a solid bar of modified alloy steel. The solid bars are quenched and tempered to obtain the required mechanical properties, then trepanned, drifted and threaded. Drill collars are furnished as slick or spiraled in 30 or 31 foot lengths.

The real life expectancy of cast iron pipe is unknown, but is usually estimated at 100 years or more. The oldest operating cast iron main is that at Versailles, France, installed in 1664. In this country and in Canada there are more than 500 members of the Cast Iron Pipe Century Club, a unique organization composed of cities or utilities that have cast iron pipe still in service after 100 years.
