Two large identical gears turn inside an encasement with an opening on each side of the encasement for the slurry material to enter or discharge from the pump. As the two gears turn to the outside of the case, a vacuum is created on the intake side the pump, creating a suction to draw the slurry material into the pump on the intake side of the pump.
