Turnkey Instruments - Model iPMPlus - Environmental Monitor
Turnkey’s new iPM instrument employs a unique combination of light extinction and light scatter to accurately analyse individual airborne particles. This allows the instrument to simultaneously measure all the PM size fractions with great accuracy. Unlike fan-based samplers, iPM has a proper pump, air filter, and accurate flow controller to generate a stable sample airflow. It also generates recirculated clean air to keep its optics away from dust and dirt contamination. Its proprietary long-life pump uses an ultrasonic mechanism and is virtually noiseless.

The DustMate environmental monitor is our handheld dust and fume detector and is perfect for short-term sampling. Versatile and practical, this handheld device is ideal for short-term testing of air quality in buildings, workplaces and on the roadside. With a very fast response time, it delivers accurate readings and can locate sources of airborne dust and fumes even at very low concentrations. Highly effective for monitoring air quality, the DustMate measures TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 simultaneously in real time.

Our Osiris air monitoring device measures airborne particles. The Osiris combines versatility with accuracy and is suitable for use in a wide range of locations and scenarios. It can be used for short- and long-term studies, simultaneously measuring TSP, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1 particles with a resolution of 0.1 µg/m3. In workplace mode, it will indicate inhalable, thoracic and respirable concentrations.

When optionally paired with a compatible smartphone or tablet, vehicle registration details and geolocation can be included in the printout and the test results sent for cloud storage.

Turnkey Instruments - Model Simret 3000 - Brake Tester
The Simret 3000 brake tester was Turnkey’s first product. Designed for testing the braking performance of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) this piece of equipment was developed in conjunction with the British Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Portable, straightforward to use and accurate to within 0.5%, the Simret 3000 has become the de facto standard for the brake testing of heavy vehicle and machine braking systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Heavy vehicle accidents are often caused by the deterioration of brakes, so regular brake testing is important in the prevention of accidents. The Simret 3000 can be used regularly to identify early deterioration of brakes, so that action can be taken before it’s too late: crucial to reducing brake failure related incidents
Turnkey Instruments - Model Simret 4000 - Portable Heavy Vehicle Brake Tester
The Simret 4000 is designed for testing the braking performance of off-road vehicles. It is compact and lightweight, with a large, backlit screen and detachable printer. The instrument is ideally suited to the brake ratio method of testing, which is recommended as best practice for rubber-tyred vehicles in quarries, open cast coal sites and mines. The Simret 4000 records average brake ratio, test incline, speed and stopping distance, and because the brake ratio is measured independently of gradient and speed, tests can be carried out in different environments and conditions.

The g-meter is one of our most popular and most straightforward brake testers. g-meter is the ideal choice for garages and MOT test centres and was originally designed for carrying out statutory annual MOT brake performance testing. It is DVSA-approved by the GEA, including for data transfer with the MOT Testing Scheme (MTS). It is also TÜV Rheinland certified. Suitable for the MOT brake testing of all classes of vehicles (Class III, IV, V, VI & VII vehicles in accordance with the Motor (Tests) Regulations 1981, as amended) the g-meter is practical, reliable and straightforward to use. It can also be used for testing heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) in accordance with the Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1988, as amended.

The Turnkey internet iDB provides remote on-site multichannel monitoring of noise with data logging and automatic alarms via email, text messaging, or a visual traffic light system. Alarm types and thresholds for vibration and noise are configured by the user and their thresholds can be set to depend on the time of day.
