TYCO Series TY-L 5.6K Standard Response, Standard Coverage, Hori-zontal Sidewall (HSW) Sprinklers are solder-type spray sprinklers designed for use in light and ordinary hazard, commercial occupancies such as banks, hotels, shopping malls, offices, etc. They are designed for installation along a wall or the side of a beam and just beneath a smooth ceiling. Hori-zontal sidewall sprinklers are com-monly used instead of pendent or upright sprinklers due to aesthetics or building construction considerations where piping across the ceiling is not desirable.

Sizes 2-1/2" thru 8" (DN65 thru DN200). AV-1 Alarm Valves may be installed vertically or horizontally.

The TYCO Model AMD-1 Automatic Air Maintenance Device is an automatic, field-adjustable, pressure reducing device. It is used to control the pres-sure in a dry pipe sprinkler system, pre-action system, or dry pilot line system of a dry pilot actuated deluge or preac-tion valve.

LFP Antifreeze is formulated to help ensure fire sprinkler systems operate as intended by allowing flow in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23,3°C). The solution is compatible with most sprinkler system materials, including CPVC, and can be more cost-effective, as well as easier to install and maintain, than alternate freeze protection methods, such as heat tracing or dry systems.

TYCO CPVC Pipe and Fittings pro-duced by Johnson Controls are designed exclusively for use in wet pipe automatic fire sprinkler systems. The TYCO CPVC Pipe and Fittings are produced from BLAZEMASTER CPVC compound that is a specially developed thermoplastic compound composed of post chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) resin and state of the art addi-tives. TYCO CPVC Pipe and Fittings are easier to install than traditional steel pipe systems, and at the same time, provide superior heat resistance and strength as compared to traditional CPVC and PVC piping materials used in the plumbing trade. Various adapt-ers are available to connect CPVC pipe to metallic piping. All female pipe thread adapters have brass inserts for durability. Grooved adapters connect directly to grooved end valves and metallic pipe, with flexible grooved end couplings.
