M-Bus to Modbus RTU (RS485) Converter is dedicated to convert M-Bus signal to Modbus (RS485) and to allow M-Bus devices to communicate on a Modbus network. The M-Bus is a bus optimized for the reading of measurement instruments like energy meters, hot and cold water meters, gas, pressure, sensors and actuators, etc. Nowadays, more and more manufacturers implement the M-Bus interface in their meters, making it the ideal basis for remote reading and smart metering applications.

This device also convert M-Bus signal to RS232 or RS485 so basically you can integrate this device in your remote data acquisition systems with ease.

It also provides SMS sending services for alarm events.  Data logger can read Kamstrup, Sensus, DIEHL, Danfoss, Itron, Landis & Gyr and other meters (like exotic meters / industrial meters). Also MX-3 can control and read other controllers like Danfoss ECL 300.

MX-2 data logger is designed for data reading from meters (electricity, heat, water, gas and other), storing to local archive and data exchange between RS232/RS485 and Ethernet.

Device has wide range of optional interfaces and protocols (Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, IEC60870-5-104: 2000, etc.) and can read any kind of meters, controllers and sensors equipped with standard protocols.
