Ultraray Radiation Protection stocks Sheet Lead in a great variety of sizes, shapes and thicknesses to ensure speedy delivery of the material. With purity of 99.5% and higher, our Lead Sheeting is the best material of choice in any design for X-Ray or gamma ray shielding. Its high malleability, density and consistency offer easy shaping of the material, and also provide maximum protection with minimum thickness to suit your application.

Ultraray Radiation Protection produces custom lead bricks in a variety of sizes, shapes, thicknesses and styles to suit all requirements. Depending on the application and tolerances of your project we offer a cast or extruded lead brick with limitless design options thanks to in-house CNC machining. Our lead bricks are manufactured from 99.5% pure lead or higher. However, any level of antimony can be introduced to achieve greater hardness when required. Any chemical composition can be produced upon request. Our lead bricks have been used to provide effective radiation shielding in: Medical Construction, Nuclear Laboratories, Barriers, Booths, NDT Testing Facilities, Ballast applications, and many more sites. Lead Bricks can be easily adapted to existing structures for additional shielding capacity. They are also ideal for both permanent and temporary structures due to ease of construction and flexibility in your design.

Our lead glass is the industry choice due to its high-grade optical material, visual clarity, greater scratch resistance, and strength without compromising lead equivalency. Available as welded or telescopic, Ultraray Radiation Protection designs Lead Lined Windows & Frame for use in various medical modalities, such as X-Ray, PET or CT Scan. Each lead window frame is designed to accommodate our protective lead glass or leaded acrylic to provide protection from alpha, beta, and gamma Ionizing radiation during medical imaging procedures. Designed for ease of installation, our lead lined windows are internally shielded with a minimum lead equivalency of 1/32" (0.8mm) to ensure proper protection. We will provide the right lead radiation shielding expertise while ensuring you meet all safety and environmental regulations and standards.

Ultraray manufactures Mobile Radiation Barriers in a wide range of standard sizes with 1/16" (1.6mm) lead shielding.  If you have a unique shielding requirement, we can provide you with a custom radiation barrier with up to 2" of lead. Our Mobile Radiation Barriers include a lead safety glass viewing window in the top with an opaque lead-lined bottom panel faced with easy-to-clean grey ABS plastic.

Designed for receiving and preparing unit doses of high-energy radionuclides, these L-Block shields provide a choice of 1.5" or 2" thick lead shielding in front, and 1" thick lead in the base. The L-Block feature an 8" x 8" x 4" lead glass window. A special plate with a hex-shaped recess is mounted on the base to facilitate one-handed loading and unloading of dose pigs incorporating hex-shaped bottoms. An optional Lead Brick Cave may be added to provide lateral shielding around the full perimeter of the L-Block`s base. These L-Blocks are shipped in modular form for easy installation without lifting equipment.
