Chemical detector tubes from different manufacturers work on the same principle and they use similar or same sensing chemicals for detecting the target gas concentration. However the physical dimensions of the tubes and the pump design to draw the required 100 ml of sample air varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. With our newly introduced KwikDraw Tubes based on MSA Detector Tubes Technology which we acquired recently and Uniphos Detector Tubes which we already have since 1996, we have detector tubes matching tubes from any manufacturers across the world. The combination of KWIK-DRAW™ detector tubes and pumps offers a quick yet precise measuring system to detect hazardous gases and vapours. The filling material in detector tubes is calibrated and adjusted to the required test gas and will change colour if this gas is present. The length of this discoloration indicates the concentration of the hazardous gas or vapour and can be measured by a printed scale on most of the tubes

The Uniphos brand of detector tubes are used with the precision ASP-40 piston hand pump. The air sample is drawn through the narrow tube containing a specific gas sensing chemical causing a color change.  The length of color stain gives the concentration which is read directly from the measurement scale printed on the tube. The piston style pump and tube configuration often have the measurement based on a single pump stroke. Uniphos detector tubes provide a simple measurement of chemicals in gas samples. Since the tubes are pre-calibrated, no calibration is necessary and hence are absolutely free of maintenance. More than 250 different Uniphos Gas Detection Tubes are available for over 150 different chemicals and concentration ranges.

The Uniphos ASP-40 pump is a light weight and rugged piston and barrel type of air sampling pump that creates a vacuum in the pump barrel causing it to draw an accurate volume of sample air through the connected gas detector tube. The integrated end-of-stroke indicator changes colour to indicate the completion of sampling. The Uniphos ASP-40 pump is easy to operate and is designed for use with the entire Uniphos gas detector tube range.

The Uniphos Pro is a portable gas monitor that is designed with durability and reliability in mind. It comes with an OLED display which clearly shows the gas concentration, battery level, and other information needed to operate and set up the instrument for use. The backlit OLED display enables the user to read the concentration levels even in dark. With user-settable data logging features the device can logs gas concentration values with date and time. The Uniphos pro can be used to measure various types of Toxic, flammable, and hazardous gases. With loud 85 dB audible alarms, the user is instantly alerted once gas levels breach the set alarm limits.

Phosphine detector strips alert workers of the presence of PH3 in dangerous levels. The strips change colour from their original yellow to pink when exposed to PH3 gas. The time it takes to change colour can be related to the PH3 gas concentration in the environment. They can be used to check the fumigated area for the presence of PH3 after aeration is complete and to confirm that the area is safe for re-entry. These strips can also be given to workers as badges when they are working in/near fumigated structures.

Sulfuryl Fluoride is a colorless and odorless gas. It is used as a fumigant in structural and commodity fumigations to control dry wood termites, wood-infesting beetles, and other insects. Like any other fumigant, Inhalation of Sulfuryl Fluoride is very dangerous to human beings and can lead to serious illness or death. Hence, it is very important to monitor the gas concentrations inside the fumigated area space during the entire fumigation period.
