UNISON training

UNISON training is designed to give our activists the skills they need to carry out their roles and to ensure that they can perform them with confidence. All courses are free to the UNISON member, although there may be a charge to the branch.

For most courses, you will need to complete an application form, which you will find included in the relevant regional or national education programme. Your application will need to be signed by your branch education co-ordinator or branch secretary. They will then forward it on to the relevant education team.

UNISON offers learning and training covering a wide variety of subjects. Many of the courses are subsidised or free and you may be entitled to time off work to attend them. Our training and learning is designed to help members with their personal and career development and to help reps support our members.
