PREACTION-PAC™ is a Factory Mutual (FM) Approved, fully integrated preaction fire suppression assembly. This preaction cabinet includes a preaction valve, compressor, and control panel providing one complete zone of preaction water sprinkler fire protection. All components of this preaction fire sprinkler system are contained in two steel enclosures assembled one above the other. The system pressure gauges and the manual release handle are mounted on the front of the lower enclosure. The system detection and control panel is mounted behind a door in the upper enclosure with a clear polycarbonate window allowing visual access to the system indicators. Lockable latches on both doors permit authorized access to all system components. Both enclosures are finished in powder-coat red paint. Gasketing provides sealing of the enclosure doors and knockouts permit easy attachment of external electrical conduits.

SPRINKLER-PAC™ is a fully assembled dry-pipe or deluge sprinkler valve fire suppression system, including dry-pipe or deluge valve and trim, providing one complete zone of dry-pipe or deluge water sprinkler fire protection. All components are contained in two (2) powder-coated steel enclosures assembled one above the other. The system pressure gauges are mounted on the front of the valve enclosure.  Lockable latches on both doors permit restricted access to connections and components. Gasketing provides sealing of the enclosure doors. Knockouts permit easy attachment of external electrical raceways.

The NITROGEN-PAC™ SC (Self-Contained) Series is a family of FM Approved nitrogen-based sprinkler corrosion inhibiting systems, providing high-purity dry nitrogen for the interior of preaction and dry sprinkler piping. These units feature an air compressor for system fast-fill and nitrogen generation, refrigerated drying of the air for the lowest possible moisture content, and membrane technology for nitrogen generator efficiency. The NITROGEN-PAC™ SC Series factory-assembled units save space and shorten installation and commissioning time.

The FM Approved UNITED Fire Systems NITROGEN-PAC™ Model SC-W is a completely self-contained nitrogen-based sprinkler corrosion inhibiting system. The unit is factory assembled and tested, and is ready for connection to sprinkler system riser(s). The system contains an air compressor, filters, and a membrane device to perform nitrogen separation. The system provides dry air for system initial fill and nitrogen for filling the interior of a dry or preaction sprinkler system with nitrogen at 98% or greater purity.The Model SC-W Cabinet contains the basic hardware for proper nitrogen generation, a manually-operated valve for directing the air compressor output to the nitrogen generation system or sending compressed air directly to the cabinet outlet, and manual adjustments for commissioning.

NYC Local Law 64 was implemented in response to serious difficulties encountered by the FDNY when fire standpipes at construction and demolition sites were damaged, rendering the standpipes unsuitable for fire department use. The law requires that all fire standpipes in vacant buildings, buildings undergoing demolition, and required permanent or temporary standpipes in buildings under construction be equipped with a system to pressurize the standpipe at all times, which then would sense the pressure loss if a portion of the standpipe was damaged or completely removed. Detailed requirements for the system are specified in the Law. STANDPIPE-PAC™ has been designed to aid in compliance with the requirements in Section 4 of Local Law 64.
