GPF(Gasoline Particulate Filter)is a ceramic filter installed in a gasoline engine exhaust system, which has essentially the same DPF filtration mechanism as a diesel engine, can capture particulate particulate matter before it enters the atmosphere.

DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter. DPF temperature sensor measures the temperature of the exhaust gas exhausted from the turbocharger and provides the information needed to evaluate the DPF temperature before the exhaust gas passes through the DPF. Use this and other data to estimate particulate accumulation and control DPF temperatures to help reduce harmful emissions and improve fuel efficiency.
