Medium-pressure lamps emit a multiple line spectrum and can be adapted in their spectrum and performance to different applications by different quartz types and changes in filling. All our medium-pressure lamps are specially designed according to your needs. These lamps are usable for disinfection, for hardening of varnish and ink in the furniture and print industry as well as in applications in the typical photo-chemistry.

Fast medium wave Infrared lamps have their emission peak in a range between 1.4 µm up to 1.6 µm and can be produced in different shapes up to a length of 2,000 mm. Three different sizes of twin- and single-tube lamps are available. On customer request, we are able to offer the lamps with a reflector made of lustre gold. Fast medium wave Infrared lamps are suitable for special applications where the spectrum of a medium wave lamp is needed as well as the fast response time of a short wave emitter. The main application fields are curing and drying processes.

Medium-wave Infrared lamps have their emission peak in a range between 2.0 µm and 3.6 µm and can be produced in different shapes up to lengths of 2,000 mm. Three different sizes of twin- and single-tube lamps are available. On customer request we are also able to offer the lamps with a reflector made of lustre gold. Medium-wave Infrared lamps are used to warm up materials, mainly surfaces and are therefore indicated for treating thin sheets and surfaces. The radiation power is absorbed directly in the material. The main application fields are hardening and desiccation.

Standard applications are water, air and surface disinfection as well as odour control in air. For higher performances please refer to our amalgam lamps.

Our standard amalgam lamps are referred to as UVI-lamps. Please use our standard range or order these lamps on your own specification for performance, length, shape, cap base and marking. If you need higher performance, you`ll find this in our UVX-lamps. UVN-lamps can be used for most applications in air or water. Standard applications are water disinfection of drinking water, service water and drain water as well as filtered water treatment. These lamps are also suitable for warm water applications such as legionella prevention.

The main application field is the surveillance of UV-intensity and therefore the germicidal effect in water disinfection units.
