Machine Sentry - Gateway for Industrial IoT System
The Machine Sentry® Gateway is a comprehensive solution for industrial IoT-based machine condition monitoring. It is designed to manage data collection from up to 100 Machine Sentry® vibration sensors, ensuring that vibration and temperature data from various equipment, including pumps, motors, fans, and bearings, are uploaded seamlessly to the Machine Sentry® database. The device can be installed both indoors and outdoors using Power Over Ethernet (POE), with Bluetooth® connectivity allowing for easy and flexible deployment, significantly reducing installation costs. Notably, the Gateway helps to eliminate the need for manual data collection by operators and engineers, thereby optimizing the efficiency of assets and minimizing the risk of unexpected downtime. The Gateway ensures data security through secure internet connections and extends Bluetooth® range up to 25 meters (82 feet), further enhancing its applicability and effectiveness in industrial settings.
Machine Sentry - Wireless Intelligent Tri-axial Vibration and Temperature Sensor
The Machine Sentry MSF-2 is a cutting-edge wireless sensor designed to monitor vibration and temperature, catering to the needs of machine condition monitoring. This tri-axial intelligent sensor utilizes both low energy Bluetooth and classic Bluetooth protocols, optimizing battery life and data transfer speed. The sensor can either be permanently mounted or temporarily installed using an optional magnet attachment, making it highly adaptable for various applications. It connects to the Machine Sentry software via a Bluetooth-enabled handheld device, facilitating efficient and safe data collection from up to 25 meters away, or over 100 meters with the X2000 Gateway. Featuring a 3-channel multiplexed data acquisition system, the sensor provides robust 3-axis support. The internal battery, which can last up to five years, supports intelligent data compression, allowing for extensive internal data storage while retaining high-definition raw waveform data for detailed post-processing analysis. This combination of durability, flexibility, and advanced technology makes the MSF-2 suitable for a wide range of industrial monitoring applications and enhances the reliability of rotating equipment, structures, and piping systems.
