The new 5-LINE Molded Front and Back Plugs are better in a number of ways. The most noticeable difference is in the very unique new design featuring the LANSAS proprietary “Flat-Rib” design which holds 60% more back pressure than standard O-ring ribbed plugs.

LANSAS’ New 5-Line Multi-Size INTER-CHANGE™ Plugs are equipped with our new RP2 – Rupture Protection pressure relief valve. These plugs have a new and improved design made with a newly reformulated rubber blend and with more plug sizes and cover sizes available.

The new LANSAS® Rupture Protected Pipe Plugs have a built-in relief valve that will help prevent the plug from being overinflated due to faulty gauges or operator error. Once the valve cracking pressure is reached, the LANSAS RP relief valve will open, relieving the excess air pressure from over-inflation and the valve will reset (reseal) at or just below the Required Inflation Pressure of the plug.

These NEW Multi-Size Medium Pressure Test Plugs are currently available in 3 different size ranges and are capable of withstanding Back/Test pressures up to 60 psi. The unique bladder designs have been tested in the extreme, in many cases up to five times the Required Inflation Pressure of the plug.

Multi-Size Back and Front Pipe Plugs are the most durable Multi-Size Pipe Plugs available today. The unique designs of these plugs are covered under two U.S. patents making them the most durable and reliable in the industry. The first patent relates to the 2-plys of cross-biased tire cord reinforcement (more on larger sizes) built in each plug. This design feature allows for controlled expansion of the plug. As the plug inflates, it gets larger in diameter and shorter in length. By changing the shape of the plug, the side-wall stress is kept to a minimum. This feature also eliminates the longitudinal tearing (end to end) found in plugs made by other manufacturers.

The Lansas Disc Plug has been around for over 40 years. Constructed of rolled channel steel, the disc plugs come sectioned to fit through standard 24` manholes for easy installation. The Lansas Disc Plug will provide a leak proof seal for construction, rehabilitation, cleaning and testing. The bladders for these pipe plugs are reinforced with 2 plys of nylon tire cord. Large sizes are available.

The Lansas Super Vac (Venturi) Vacuum is a lower-cost alternative for manhole vacuum testing. The new Super-Vac™ will pull over 40 CFM @ 10″ Hg (inches of Mercury). It does require an air compressor that moves 80 CFM or better at about 60 psi. The Super-Vac™ will deliver more than 50% more volume than others on the market. The unit has no moving parts nor does it require any maintenance.

The LANSAS Protective Sleeve now has large D-Rings in place of the typical loops you see on other manufacturer’s sleeves. This simple design improvement is superior in strength and makes it much easier to restrain the sleeve using the LANSAS SMART-SECURE™ Protective Sleeve Cable Restraint System.

Cylindrical Stoppers are inflatable Pipe Plugs with a rugged waterproof cover that when inflated to the proper internal pressure can hold as much as 10 lbs. of pressure in the pipe. The broad central zone makes contact with the wall of the pipe and holds against higher pressures than other types of bag Pipe Plugs.
