VAOS designs, fabricates and installs all types of pipe work, tanks and structural steelworks ranging from individual components to complete processing systems. In 26 years of experience, VAOS completed more than 30 tanks (up to 1,000,000 barrels capacity) as well as 500 km of newly installed or repaired pipeline.

VAOS Ltd has two long-standing ‘General Technical Service Contracts’ with Harouge Oil Operations going back 28 years. The contracts cover the full spectrum of oilfield services provision, such as electrical works, mechanical maintenance, warehousing and transportation.

Water Well Drilling Services

VAOS is proud to offer a high quality Computerised Well Logging service to meet its clients ground water, environmental, geotechnical, and natural resources data needs. We have wide-ranging proficiency in borehole logging operations within Libya and are able to mobilise our in-country capability at short notice: the entire range of VAOS equipment is available on a service basis, operated by our own highly trained technicians.

Cathodic Protection Wells Services

Cathodic Protection (CP) Hole Drilling Team provides drilling, anode-placing and chemical backfilling works on CP holes and deep CP wells up to a maximum depth of 373 metres.

Environmental Services

Automated Tank Cleaning Services

VAOS has extensive experience in this field and can provide tank cleaning, maintenance and repair of storage tanks at refineries, oil fields and tank terminals. Using Oreco’s patented BLABO® system (performed at 18 tanks in Libya without any recorded incident - as at February 2014), our tank cleaning service is automated, mobile and modular, and non-man entry. The system is designed to clean large volume, difficult-to-clean oil tanks and is suitable for both floating and fixed roof tanks. Its ‘closed loop cleaning system’ heavily reduces the impact of tank cleaning on the environment and provides near 100% hydrocarbon recovery. When compared to manual cleaning techniques, this system is safer and reduces the tank down-time up to 80%.
