VDM Metals - Model 25 - Cobalt Alloys

Compared to nickel alloys, cobalt alloys maintain their excellent high-temperature strength up to 1,150 °C (2,100 °F) ; they also possess outstanding oxidation resistance due to their chromium content. Our VDM Alloy 25 and VDM Alloy 188 cobalt-based alloys are part of our group of super alloys, which distinguishes itself with high corrosion resistance and high temperature strength. They are especially well suited for use in highly corrosive environments. Common areas of application are turbines, both stationary as well as in aircraft.

VDM Metals - Model Zirconium - Alloys

Zirconium convinces through its resistance to severely corrosive environments. It reliably protects process equipment and pipes in chemical plants against attack by highly concentrated acids or alkaline solutions. VDM Metals offers this high-performance material in two alloys and in customized dimensions – top quality and comprehensive service in the packet go without saying.

VDM Metals - Stainless Ateels Alloys

Special stainless steels represent a material group that is situated between the non-corrosive steels and the nickel alloys. These iron-nickel-chromium alloys differ from the ordinary non-corrosive steels by their higher alloying additions of nickel, chromium or molybdenum. Many corrosion-resistant alloys, such as VDM® Alloy 31, VDM® Alloy 800 H or VDM® Alloy 926, whose main alloying element is not nickel, but that still have a relatively high nickel content, are part of this group. Furthermore, we produce a number of not nickel-containing materials, which we also consider part of our special stainless steels.
