Overhead non-disappearing hose systems are an economical yet very efficient solution for storing hose assemblies overhead in vehicle maintenance facilities. Several different hose storage options are available within the “non-disappearing” flexible hose configuration. Cable reel balancers are the most user-friendly options for retracting flexible hose assemblies out of the work area. In addition to cable reel balancers, Ventaire offers rope or cable pulley systems and telescoping hose assemblies. With multiple storage systems available, Ventaire’s non-disappearing overhead hose storage systems are a suitable option for your vehicle exhaust extraction system requirements.

Ventaire automatic spring hose reels, model HRA, use heavy-duty carbon springs to manually extend and retract the hose. When needed, simply pull the hose assembly to the desired location and lock it into place. Once finished, simply pull on the hose to unlock the reel and allow the hose assembly to retract automatically. The HRA spring hose reels can be ducted to a central fan or provided with an individual direct mount exhaust fan. Ventaire spring hose reels ship fully assembled from the factory.

Ventaire motorized hose reels, model TMHR, are the industry’s only internal tubular motor, direct drive hose reels. This patented compact design eliminates the use of chains and gears requiring minimal maintenance and provides superior longevity. The TMHR motorized hose reels can be ducted to a central fan or provided with an individual direct mounted exhaust fan. The SIFA fume arm supports are located outside the airstream allowing for unobstructed airflow through the entire arm and provides minimal pressure drop compared to internally supported fume arms. Articulation of these arms is convenient, simply performed by grabbing the handle located on the inlet hood and positioning it to the ideal location.
