Versatech`s Zooom BoomT is a FAST RESPONSE self-inflating, oil spill containment boom used successfully around the world for over 15 years.

Offshore Boom is an air-inflated boom that is well suited to the harsh conditions faced in open ocean spills. Large independent air bladders within individual buoyancy chambers are quickly inflated through Monsun inflation/deflation valves using back-mounted blower packs.

General Purpose Boom is one of our most cost-effective oil containment booms, available in a range of sizes from 6 inch (15 cm) to 36 inches (90 cm) for use in all water conditions. This style of containment boom is a real versatile workhorse. General Purpose (Contractor) Boom is very popular with spill clean-up contractors because of its simplicity of use and rugged design.

Versatech RBS Skimmers operates by utilizing the oleophilic surfaces of a rotating brush/drum/disc to attract oil and reject water. As the skimming element rotates through the oil/water surface, the oil adheres to the surface and is removed by a scraper. The recovered oil is collected in a common sump and pumped away. The skimming element modules, brush/drum/disc, can be changed easily in a few minutes. The system also offers an internal weir system for heavy oil concentrations.

The Pedco Skimmer is a self-adjusting weir-type skimmer that is simple in design and easy to use. It can be used free-floating or with booms attached to the skimmer to funnel oil directly into the weir for collection.

Versatech’s Hydraulic Boom Reels are known for their high quality and extreme durability. Hydraulic Boom reels make storage and deployment of oil containment boom efficient and easy. The reel has fully welded construction and is made using corrosion resistant 100% 6101 aluminum, and features two forklift pockets for easy transportation. A variety of drive types with high ratio gear reducer provides reliability and the high torque required for deployment and collection of long lengths of boom.

DeckPak and Heli-Pak Storage/Delivery/Deployment systems provide the FASTEST and most flexible delivery and deployment of Versatech`s Zooom Boom at an incident site without the need for any mechanical assistance, auxiliary systems or moving parts.

Versatech Ocean Towable Bladders are used for oil spill recovery and temporary storage of the recovered oil during spill response operations on water. The bladders are very rugged units with a cylindrical or round main body giving them stable towing characteristics. The tanks have capacities from 3 to 50 cubic meters, and can be deflated and flattened for extremely compact storage when they are not in use. Auxiliary floatation is provided by high buoyancy rectangular solid foam floats or air chambers located along the length of the bladder. Multiple filling ports are provided for filling and draining the tanks, along with optional internal transfer pumps.
