The Star Seal Compression Connector produces a watertight seal between pipes entering a precast concrete structure. The Star Seal™ Connector is installed during the concrete pouring process and becomes an integral component of the concrete structure without requiring any coring or placement after the base component is cast. When the pipe is inserted, the gasket is compressed which provides both a primary and secondary sealing function.

PURE LUBE 400/400SA is designed for lubricating slip-on or "O" Ring type joints without harming rubber or plastic gaskets. It adheres to both wet or dry surfaces and is a subaqueous lubricant. No taste or odor is transferred to fluids in pipe system. PURE LUBE 400 is non toxic, biodegradable and does not support bacteria growth, and is approved for potable water pipe.

Designed to meet or exceed all requirements outlined in ASTM C-923 and C-1478, the Star Seal™ Connector can be used in all stormwater and wastewater applications including manholes, catch basins, pump and lift stations, wet wells, treatment plants, septic tanks and more.

Clean both the 4" OD and the 6" ID. Place the gasket on the end of the 4" house pipe with the white stripe facing the end of the pipe.  Push the 6" pipe over  the gasket, one complete revolution until it "locks" into place. No lube, no water, just push the  joint  together.

Provides a seal that can compensate for any misalignment between adjacent box culverts; enables ready coupling of box culverts by reducing the construction time of completed structure; and creates a seal capable of remaining watertight up to 13 psi of hydrostatic water pressure.
