Basic & Big Forks

Vetter - Fork with ISO Suspension

The ISO suspension is currently the standard fork attachment method. These forks are mounted by means of fork hooks that are slid onto the fork carriage. A characteristic feature is a 20° chamfer on the fork hook.

Vetter - Fork with DIN Suspension

DIN forks are generally used on older machinery, for special designs as well as in the construction and agricultural machinery industries. These forks are mounted by means of fork hooks that are slid onto the fork carriage. A characteristic feature is a 90° angle on the fork hook and the fork carriage section.

Vetter - Fork with Pin Type Suspension

Pin-type forks are often used on large forklift trucks and construction machinery. The fork has an eyelet that is slid over a corresponding shaft on the machine. The English designation “pin-type” is also commonly used in other countries. Especially on construction machinery, pin-type forks provide for a floating function that facilitates use outdoors and on uneven surfaces. There are no standardized dimensions for the pin-type suspension. However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.

Vetter - Bolt-on Fork with Holes

Bolt-on forks are often used on large forklift trucks and attachments, e.g. multi-pallet handlers for the beverage industry. Holes in the fork shank allow them to be bolted onto the fork carriage. Due to the holes and the resulting notch effect, the load-bearing capacity is lower than that of standard forks of comparable cross-section. We thus highly recommend that bolt-on forks are designed and calculated by VETTER. The hole pattern is not standardized. However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.

Vetter - Roller Guided Fork

Roller-guided forks are often used on high-capacity forklift trucks and in port logistics. The fork is guided on the fork carriage by rollers mounted on the fork. There are no standardized dimensions for the suspension of roller-guided forks. However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.

Vetter - Model TWS - Fork

TWS forks are often used on high-capacity forklift trucks and in port logistics. They are mounted by means of an upper hook and a lower lug/bolt. The term Terminal West suspension is also common. There are no standardized dimensions for the suspension of TWS forks.
However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.

Special Forks

Vetter - Model ManuTel - Manual Telescopic Fork

During day-to-day operations it is par for the course that goods and pallets with different lengths need to be moved. The forklift truck’s standard forks are often too short or too long. The ideal solution is ManuTel – the manual telescopic forks made by VETTER. With ManuTel you always have the “extension” to hand and ready for use in no time at all.

Vetter - Model Beluga - Fork Tip

Very often, the fork tip is simply too sharp resulting in the risk of pricking the cargo. The solution: BELUGA fork tips with rounded edges and an increased impact surface of the fork tip upon contact with the load. This reduces damage of packaging and goods and increases safety of humans and environment - also in explosion-protected areas.

Vetter - Folding Fork

Folding forks are always sensible when folding up the fork blade can prevent hazardous situations. Furthermore, the space required by the truck can be significantly reduced and manoeuvrability increased. Typical applications are road traffic, outdoor use and restricted spaces. The engineering and production of folding forks are subject to the highest requirements and absolute accuracy. The heel area of a fork is generally the section under the greatest stress. In the case of folding forks, the heel area consists of a pin suspension instead of solid material, meaning that utmost attention needs to be paid to this area.

SmartFork - Assistance Systems

Vetter - Model SmartFork - Fork Assistance System

If the view is obstructed through transport goods, only gut feeling remains. You don’t need to accept this any longer: the SmartFork provides a better view and makes working with free sight simply safer. Intuition meets precision - in one tool which makes work as efficient and safe as never before with a fork arm.
