VGB PowerTech e.V. Past Events
The 52nd Chemistry Conference begins with a progress report of the chemistry in the power plant and future challenges. This includes the savings in water consumption and the critical analysis of guide and limit values in water chemistry.
At this year’s chemistry conference an interesting introduction and farewell lecture will be given by the long-term conference chairman Prof. Dr. Herwig Maier, who argues that all power plant is ultimately chemistry. Besides the presentation of the currently revised VGB-S-513 on the internal cleaning of water-tube steam generating plants and associated pipework, there are also interesting inputs to this focus on the overall power plant preservation.
VGB’s annual Conference “Chemistry in Power Plants” will take place in Leipzig/Germany. The conference is a forum for operators of energy utilities and industrial power plants. Operating experience will be discussed and technical developments will be represented in the field of power plant chemistry. Conference languages are German and English with simultaneous translation.
