Such infrastructures are based on 5 company-owned  Operations Centers (Turin, Rome, Bucharest, Warsaw and Bruxelles) and a Security Institute (L’Aquila), with workload balancing and recovery logic when necessary, with over 100 operators guarantee service management 24 hours a day all year long.

Viasat Assistance is a widespread network of installation centers, body shops and workshops, authorized and specialized in the installation of on-board devices as well as after-sales assistance.

Management of intervention and of all activities correlated with the finding of the car, the goods carried, and the protection of individuals.

Handling an emergency means carrying out an entire series of actions aimed at containing damages to people or things and bringing the situation back to normal as quickly as possible. Among these, medical/mechanical assistance is of major importance, a rescue service run and coordinated by the Operations Center in case of need due to unforeseen mechanical failure or following an accident, sudden illness or danger.

A series of securization procedures enables Viasat Technical Assistance to verify that it is functioning properly in order to constantly guarantee the functionality of the system, diagnose faults, prevent malfunctions, and arrange interventions for the solution of problems verified by Viasat’s specialized centers.

The Viasat Operations Center, supported by innovative analysis tools, is able to process and examine the data recorded by the satellite device at the time of an accident and during normal road traffic.

Viasat reporting services place at the fleet manager’s disposal large amounts of data and information useful to process business indicators for an efficient and effective operational management of the fleet.
